Would it not be cool to collaborate the issues into an inDesign document and export to .pdf for people to download? In my opinion it would be awesome, I'd be willing to get a draft up if you are interested. <3

It's a nice idea but not many users would have InDesign or be willing to 'port' it across. I can't speak on what you can or cannot do, but for the moment the bigger problem is actually releasing the content as it is. This is just another method of publishing, but for the moment i think its fair to say we have problems enough as it is releasing. We can't really start this sort of thing. But who am I? A nobody...! So perhaps you will get your wish tongue.gif.

Haha, I remember that once we had a system where people submitted news until a particular date, then they had 2 days to finalise and declare that was the final thing, then I put them all into inDesign and published on one of an old website that no longer exists, I feel it kind of is practical and can be done, it's just that people over here are used to the current systems.

I'm pretty sure I must have inDesign (I got a legit copy of Adobe CS4 Master Collection for $15). Seeing as I'm the one who will be working on coding the newspaper, I'll go check it out.

I managed to acquire a legit copy of Adobe CS4 Master Collection for free >_<.. Its a great tool to have, and is actually quite practical, I'll PM you my MSN Messenger address if you want any more information.. If we all got a template up for each kind of page it could be awesome! <3

I can't see the advantages if I'm honest. A webpage is much easier to read than a PDF document, and we'd have to work out a strict layout and make sure articles fit in the space. I don't see how it'd be worth it.

I just think that it'd make it more.. awesomer is the word? well, clearly it's not as the spell checker decided to underline it.. It's relatively simple to do when you have the template, by all means you could run a trial of the .pdf and website, see how it goes..

Anything is worth a try tbh.
