I am currently making a Range/2h pure. My current ranged level is 55 and I have 1 def. I do not care about any money made (I have well over 200k, so no need for money making). I would like to know what is the fastest training, keep in mind of bank trips and such.

if you're F2P, try out lessers. If that doesn't work, just head back to the minotaurs until 60.

Thanks for the advice. I might go back to the minotaurs until 60, I take too long to kill the lessers.

Try flesh crawlers, they're so much faster but they will do damage, so if you're rich bring good food so you last a little longer if not, just make a few more bank trips.

Flesh crawlers max hit is 1...

Just go there, bring inv of salmon/trout/tuna.

Don't listen to the above, Flesh Crawlers hit far too frequently on 1 def pures and the bank is too far away to be worth it. Either use Minotaurs (level 27 ones), or Al-Kharid Warriors.

Al-Kharid Warriors are about 2-3k more exp per hour than Minotaurs, but they take a lot more food. The banking time, however, is MUCH shorter. So more fighting less idling around.

I've tried Flesh Crawlers at 70 range and I STILL get less exp than Minotaurs/Al-Kharid Warriors due to how frequently they hit you at 1 def.

Ok, flesh crawlers are great, why?

1) There is a safe spot, and even if ur getting attacked by 1's, eat the food, which is very close by-

2) Free salmon/trout at the edgeville fishing spot, mainly world one or one that is highly populated. Just got myself from 80-83 fishing there, and there is never enough ppl to take my FREE FOOD.

I trained on flesh crawlers with my pure, and they are pretty good exp. The problem is there is only a safe spot for one of them, so you have to wait for it to re-spawn. You could also try Ankous. Lesser demons are you're best bet for 60+.

Using the one safe spot cuts back your exp/hr by about 5k (1/4), and I've tested that so there's no point arguing. When that 1/4 is taken away, you are getting less exp/hr than minotaurs or Al-Kharid warriors.

Fine, free food still makes it a great place to train.
