Yeah I saw this on the news. Odd to be fair. I wouldn't want to play one though.
Hmm... it's a toss up between this and a Theremin 
It looks like just one huge midi controller since it's connected to a laptop. Pretty cool though.
I don't like it, it scares me. I can make those sounds with my synthesizer anyway.

Like a basoon and a midi controller in one... It's cool but I'm not sure if I like it all that much. It kinda takes the satisfaction out of playing the real thing, you know?

I'm guessing any music store, Guitar Center or something. The Alpha model is insanely expensive, though; I'm considering getting the consumer model.

You can pretty much do everything they do with a MIDI controller. The size and technicality just make it look more impressive than it actually is.
