A few new guides are now up on the site! First, we have a brand-new guide on the Living Rock Cavern, with lots of must-know info to help make the most of the new area! A huge thanks goes to Wildman, Kemosabe and Blyaunte for writing this excellent guide! Our Prince Ali Rescue quest guide has been completely rewritten to be much easier for players to use as well. A big thanks goes to Mith for writing this great guide! And lastly, we have a new guide on Faruq's Tools for Games, with just about everything you need to know about these interesting items! Another big thanks goes to Twist of Fate for writing this great guide! ice.gif

There is no such thing as 'just a little "As"'.

Another set of some wonderful guides. Great job, guys =D

Sadly the Living Rock guide has a few mistakes in it. Having spent the better part of my playing time there over the last few days, I can testify the gold ore you can get from one deposit is far greater than one inventory... I maxed at 162 ores with 3 others mining the same deposit. The least I got was 36 ores.

One more thing: It seems there is some kind of glitch in the cave. You can melee the range critters from a safe spot. It sounds ludicrous but this is the situation: Lure the range thingie south of an obstacle then stand north of it (with obstacle to the west). It can't decide whether to range or melee you and does nothing.

Not noticing these things while those writing the guide didn't, doesn't really surprise me: One doesn't feature in highscores at all, on has the combat level to stay for an extended period of time but doesn't have the mining level and the one who can mine the stuff cant stay long enough to really investigate what happens.
Mith
Taker's guide is boss wub.gif
Also, good job on the big combination Wildman, Kemo, and Blyaunte. It paid off.

Has anyone ever said good job Sal for putting the guides on the site? I'm pretty sure that takes some work too tongue.gif
Choccy
I have to agree with Simple, the mining part of this guide is well.......missing? unsure.gif

I agree with Choccy/Simple. I'm trying to make this sound as rude as possible, so forgive me if I insult you. I just felt that it was lacking somewhat. You failed to mention Living Rock Remains, mining Living Rock. You should've put some sort of table. There was quite a bit missing, refer to Simple's post for more. But yeah, it defo needs updating, and quick, because its already been added to the site.

It's like fishing spots. The time the rock stays spawned for is absolutely random, I've had a minimum of about 4 ores from one.

If it's a glitch, it's going to be fixed, and shouldn't be in the guide.

Just because we're not probably best suited to write the guides doesn't mean we can't. I spent the entire time from 80-85 Mining there, and during that time I only used about 3-4 pieces of food.

What is there to write about other than rocks that you can mine? pfft.gif

Then write the updates for it, rather than complaining. Simple doesn't always know best.

It was lacking alot on how to mine it, the rock changing periods, how to survive longer, summoning(obs) etc... Perhaps mention the lvl 200 drops 200k+ each time and is highly unrecommended to avoid.
