Jagex has pretty much used up all of their ideas.

Any suggestions to what it'll be? The rewards, too?
Magic Of Woodcut
Something involving the grim reaper no doubt. And their new holiday events suck so I don't see why this one should be any different pfft.gif
Stella
Who knows, don't underestimate them.
They had fun, exciting ones for mostly every [big] holiday in the past 5+ years? I don't see how they wouldn't get any new ideas.

Thats just my opinion though.
Not sure about the event, the reward would prolly be clothes, emotes, or something.

The old ones didn't? They were drops. I thought last years halloween was good smile.gif

The bone brooch? That matched well with the Grim Reaper...
Dance For Money
This would be a suggestion, um... You go around trick or treating?

Like you get a list of riddles and you figure out which NPCs to go look for to get random ass items. tongue.gif

Now we did that last year!

I think it will involve imps due to a twitter post on runescape twitter wub.gif

I think I know why no one posted in your topic but I am not going to say why because it is slightly offensive, anyway Hallowe'en always surprises me, it has a slight twist every year and is pleasing to the eye, I think holliday events are hard to predict really.

Well, the twitter hinted at imps and the Scottish parliament.

Slow down, we haven't even got to Christmas yet.
Helm360
i suspect it will be a miniquest with rewards as follows: some xp, some item, and some sort of cool emote. That's the stnadard pattern for holdiay events as far as I can see. Ok, let's think about this: maybe it will be a pair of cool gloves, with some ghost emote (Player turns into a ghost for a few secs) and around maybe 5 lamps. There will be a few puzzzles, of course, as you earn the right to wear your *insert bad pun here*-y gloves from caspar the ghost!
I doubt it will be another costume set stragith after one we jsut got, but gloves would be cool, or maybe it will be jsut an emtoe.
Now, I thin this year we will be looking at ghosts! Yipee!

These Holiday event items are only good for money.

*cough* easter imps *cough*

i dont really know what they are gonna do for this halloween, but knowing Jagex they will probably come up with puzzles, in any kind of way.

I'm pretty sure with my old account I sold something for a few million. Just a few years ago. Well, then the items are useless.

Summonable Great Pumpkin! They could have a little kid in a red shirt and a blue blanket have you go on a quest to find him.

ok i thought about somthing for a halloween event, so enjoy, or else...biggrin.gif jkn...

ok so you go bi rimmington, wer most halloween events are:D
you see a scarecrow standing up bi itself and maggie from last year with her wagon and cows. she tells u she acidentally enchanted the scarecrows to come to life and LITERALLY scare crows, not to mention evrything else that moves. She tells you that she needs some ingredients to control the scarecrows while they are there. Like last year u can trik or treat and she needs a sspecific amount of EVERYTHING and once u hav all of that u talk to her and she makes a potion wich she then gives to u. its a potion that u use to scare the scarecrow(wich also gives you a new emote) so much it stops scareing things. u tell it to go to maggie so she can fix it. you do this to mabye like six scarecrows. once u finish, she thanks u for helping fix the mess. u finish the quest and get a scarecrow mask.

after u finish that quest, one of the other scarecrows bi maggie says that sometimes if a scarecrow scares a human so badly, they turn into a zombie(not like the ones in the wild but like scary ones that dont kill u. he gives you an amulet that turns zombies back into humans when talked to. the only zombies are in lumbridge, varrock, falador, and al karid. one u "humanfie" 10 zombies from evry city, u go back to the scarecrow and he thanks u and lets u keep the amulet, wich doesnt do anything after quest is finished, just adds as a decoration to ur costume biggrin.gif. You finish the quest and can just trik or treat or somthing halloweenish.

thanks 4 readin!

This years event will probably involve imps. That or scaring the flying fladoodles of kids that never grow old(Neverland much?) for candy. box.gif

Somehow, I just can't get excited about a Halloween event. I do holiday events just to say I did them, not because I actually use any of the non-tradables items that come out of them.

Honestly, it might be better if they just redecorated the buildings with toilet paper for a few weeks, or let you throw eggs at people instead of rotten tomatoes. But that probably sets a bad example for the young'uns. unsure.gif

Jagex makes a contract with the creators of the Grudge. There is a curse and everybody near an infected person dies and is screwed. It'd be an epic Halloween event.

Thing is the only bad thing is people in F2P worlds would stand near Lumbridge all day cursing everyone who just starts playing. And then theres the G.E. And then theres Castle Wars (I can imagine that).

Are you ready for some Spooktacular Stories from The House of Death? #RuneScape will not be a place for the timid this week... Ajd

Am I the only one who thinks they made the first maze of webs too hard? Half the people don't even know how to move!

That's probably because most F2Pers have never done agility, members found it incredibly easy.

Actually, I did it and couldn't figure out how to move for like 3 minutes. And I'm 65 Agility.

Jagex has run out of ideas, but the cape was pretty awesome looking. Something with reaper clothes would be nice, or maybe an emote.

The closest I'm guessing is Reaper hood, dark or priest robes, the cape, and boots idk. [f2p anyway]

I liked the spider thing, but the cape was lame in my opinion; it looked like something spider man spit out. I liked the event though. It was wellmade, and the graphics were amazing, especially the quality of the "decorations". People play for quick rewards. I know I did the previous years for all events. Now that I don't play much anymore, I finally get to appreciate the work that's been put into making something like this; something that's going to be erased in 2 weeks =[

The event was Ah-Maze-IN. biggrin.gif
Kemosabe
TBH, it was the first event I've done in a few years that I've really enjoyed, except for the 2007 Hallowe'en event.
