Anybody else really annoyed when you face someone who is only there to train their magic, and they do not try to win? I think that is quite annoying, it takes all the fun out of the game.

The joke's on them since you only get half the exp you normally get.

It is not effective on training magic, I personally just kill them straight away.

It's fairly fun to say you will let them train on you, and whip around and completely dominate them.

I don't care, I just want tokens when I play; I don't care how I get them .

FOG is a joke. here is a list of my last five opponents from freeplay FOG

1- level 7 who suicided

2- level 23 pure training magic

3- level 4 using wind strike

4- level 42 afking

5- level 12 with steel scim

I find it nice sometimes to get some quick tokens, but sometimes when I just want a challenge, I would perfer a suitable opponent.

It's easy to train magic their at lower levels without having to spend the cash on runes. . Get over it? When I play it's because I want one of the rewards, don't care how.

I agree; I hate it when people play minigames solely for the experience. I'm on RuneScape to have fun, not to sit around and get my character's status up.

i train there sometime and i tell them straight up
"i need to train mage, but ill still hunt you and ill even attack you while your hunting me, you can win and get easy tokens"
useually they comply but every 1/10 person has to complain but i just ignore them and do it

Sounds kind of like me. I only play FOG for fun and I don't care whether I win or lose but I tend not to bother running around getting charges, the only park I enjoy is using Flames on Zamorak on a fellow FOG player.

No, you ca play without grinding, just do quests.

Don't think about the time lost, but the friends gained. Or just simply throw a whip in their face.

The point it wind strike is quite accurate so I tend to hide even if they are trainers.

IMO rating is better as it gives you more tokens.

If you want to PvP, there are other and better ways to do it.
Fist is more Minigame than Hard-core, fight to the death combat, it's really about the reward (and for some, the rank).

I like the strategy, I am at a disadvantage in true PvP against anybody that can switch between melee and range, melee and magic or range and magic. My lag really messes up the speed in which I can switch my prayer.

I really dislike people who just want to train. usually with these people, i just run to the very outside, whip out my rune scimitar and own them time and time again until they either leave or times up.

I'm fine with it. If they want free magic xp go ahead.

Admittedly it does not happen often to me, I usually only play FOG in members worlds. I get enough of a challenge there running from level 138s (*snicker*and winning often*snicker*).
