Just looked at Dropbox, and thought about how well it would complement my 1Password.

First, a few questions:

Is it secure?

Is it reliable (minimal downtime)?

Is it efficient (I don't want to see 99% CPU in my iStat menu)?

Thanks

I use Dropbox and I love it. Great to have it in the cloud for documents I need on the go at school or wherever else.

To answer your questions:

Yes.

Yes. I haven't had any downtime that I've known of.

Yes. Looking at Activity Monitor, Dropbox at rest uses 0.0% CPU. Is that low enough for you? tongue.gif And you can set how much upload/download bandwidth you want to allow it.

One tip for Dropbox is to have the folder in the Dock and copy and paste files in there (I like to keep a local copy still). Get Dropbox, it's free and if you have an iPhone/iPod Touch, I believe there's an App in the App Store or on its way in there.
