I didn't notice this in the RuneScape Updates & News forum or in RuneScape Announcements but there is nothing on the RSC updates(at least I didn't see anything). Now I know sal's doesn't dive much into RSC... but the updates to RSC are relevant to the eventual re-release of RSC... is it possible to get threads on them when they update RSC?...(It may be difficult perhaps... as getting the info require RSC RSOF access)

Well, Runescape classic hasn't been updated for about half a decade now so that's why no RSC updates are on there. Jagex haven't released any official newspost on the front page about RSC being relaunched (Yes, I know they have confirmed that it will be released) but until it is released and stated on the front page, we won't post it onto the Announcement forums.

I've a feeling that's the problem - from what I understand, nobody DM+ has RSC RSOF access and possibly only a person or two with an 'accessible' RSC account. We could possibly ask for a couple of people to be given access, but otherwise if you PM somebody the content of the thread (with the QFC, date and such for the sub-title), I'm sure it could be posted in RS Announcements.

FMods have access to the classic forums, if you can find anyone that falls under that category.
There are quite a few people on the forums with active RSC accs. If they're willing to update the DMs then they can post the topics.

Or you can allow anyone to post in the forum and have it heavily modded.

The problem is that Jagex quit updating RSC when the new Runescape came out. That is why it isn't updated.

Psst, tell me and I'll post in there aware.gif

Surely just edit a mature, rsof forum mod with a super crazy guitar maniac avatar and let them post in the announcments forum, I wonder who has all of those.

Hey

I just went to chat to the game engine team and they have agreed to reboot the servers after lunch (2pm GMT) today.

We have also been desperately trying to work out the long standing issue with the Guthix claw graphical bug, the one where it hangs about after its cast, blocking squares. Well, hopefully, fingers crossed, we have fixed it!

and more recently:
RSC to RS2 Chat Restored

Seems that the road to Rsc Revival is one step closer as one of the things needed to be done was restore contact between RSC and RS2. As that will be a step necessary for the rented servers to work... It's been a long time since I saw RS2 people online while I was on RSC but I saw them today for the first time in years. I was not prepared for the onslaught of rs2 people OMG and the such, lol. Soon that will pass ...

Banks

Something that was showed on the Dev Blog was the X button for the banks... well there are here!

Just to compare here's an old bank:

and one today:

They added in a 50, X, and all other wise its the same.

Now granite(sp) the bank and chat updates I don't have the QFC for but I have noticed recently posts from Jackh in RSC ROSF talking about the recent changes and bugs that he's fixed etc.
