Sal's really has seemed to become a dictatorship over the past few weeks and months. Without going into detail, a friend of mines posts in a part of the forum was deleted because she got flamed. Now, she got given a warn level unchanged, but she also didn't do anything. I won't share my latest warn, but you'll probably notice that Lady seemingly double posted on a thread.
Why delete all these posts that are being made? I think Mods are becoming too paranoid and trying to play happy families, because you know sure as hell some of us don't like each other. We shouldn't have to hide that.
I wasn't being sarcastic. Anyway.
Sal's needs reform! I propose that we give mods a new set of things that can be warnable or unwarnable for! Yes, we have the rules, but part of those rules aren't "Don't respond to flamers" or "Don't be rude to people who steal images".
I don't think it's extreme to say that Sal's mods are like the Chinese government.

If she flamed a flamer than she's not much better than the flamer at all, there's a nifty little report button there which may warn the poster, but if you respond to them it'll just escalate.
Deleting Posts is necessary because this way a Flame War won't occur, the Mods may edit the post but if the whole post is a Flame to a different poster than the correct action to do is delete the post.
You don't have to hide that you don't like a poster, nobody said that you have to. Insulting the poster, though, is much different than saying you don't like him/her. Mods are doing what they were assigned to do, moderate the forum.
I prefer the way the forum works and it's fine as it is. Responding harshly to flamers makes you a flamer and just ignites the Flame even more.
Saying that Sal's is a communist forum and like the Chinese government is a bit extreme to say, the mods here are actually pretty fair if you ask me.
