Right it would be so fair to all the freeplayers if we were allowed to pk with whips and dds in freeplay bh.

Wat about the fact that a high level F2p charceter can beat a lower lvl p2p???

That's obviously because the higher leveled F2Per is obviously higher levelled than the P2Per. If the F2Per became P2P they'd still be able to win, so what's the difference?

Yes that's the whole point. It's so p2p people don't have an unfair advantage over f2p people on their worlds.

f2p pvp would be destroyed by high level members with barrages, godswords, claws and an army of dds-ers

Exactly.... only time I get annoyed is my air battlestaff doesnt work in F2p and I always forget that it doesn't work and I'd have to use air runes... box.gif

Interesting fact: Members are not superior to free players. We don't spam the forums that much, and we actually have to work for our levels too. You have no right to penalize us because we can't pay a membership fee. Any questions?

I think the topic is pretty much wrapped up now.

I myself think that you should be allowed to equip them, but they would have to be only as strong as their f2p counterpart.

EG:
Dragon= as strong as rune on f2p worlds
white = as strong as black
whip = rune scimitar
battlestaves = normal elemental staves
godswords = rune 2h sword
skillcape = plain ole' cape
error404
Or their could be certain worlds where members can use their items...
xiP A U Lix
I think that members should be able to equip/unequp them (But they still have 0 bonus.

Also, I think that they should be able to be SOLD only on the G.E.

That would be what they call "members worlds".

Strongfan: P2p WITH f2p.

Lets keep the Members pvp and F2p pvp separate, as this would hugely unbalance combat in f2p. Want to use members items? go to a members world.

This would be essentially used only by members, it would lack a purpose.
Superkid711
Why would you want to use member items in F2p? I get wanting to wear them but it would be horribly unfair to actually be able to use them. As many have pointed out already.

If you want to use your member items play in a member world. It's that simple.

Er, members world?

Just go to a P2P world, why even go F2P? Unless your pvping which suck cause everyone has rune scimmys and runs.
Goggie
Yes this is v dangerous to Rs econmy and stuf

It just makes sense, that's all. You can wear them because you put them on in Members, but can't use them in Freeplay because that would create an unfair advantage.
mad max
how would u feel if your f2p getting hit by a whip or a godsword?

I disagree with the members gear in f2p worlds but I do agree that in f2p u should be able to equip members item in a f2p with still 0 bonuses.
Mn Ju
I don't think you should be able to use them in F2P worlds, but I do think that you should be allowed to put them on the grand exchange, or re-equip them, even if they're unusable.
the mon
You should be allowed to stored members items away in a f2p world if you accidentally have them.
That's all I want mellow.gif
slay1124
I believe it is fair that we would not be aloud to use them cause its not fair to nonmems. BUT!!!! on the other hand i have a friend (non-mem) and i would highly like it if i could show him some of my stuff. Thnx Hippie1597

Ya that would really suck for nonmembers if they got poisoned...

Lol IRL

Anyway, I almost died because of this. I was at green dragons, and a revenant showed up. I quickly logged out and logged in on another word> I accidentally logged in a f2p world and there, too, was a revenant. My sharks were useless, but I managed to escape by running.

But like Ruin said, it would be unfair.
Stella
If it was possible, then forget about about f2p Clan wars. >_>
I do hate that when you get membership, get a load of member things and when it's over they're all a waste though.
I have a little less then a month left; and I don't want to buy more for a while but everything would be a waste.

+1

I also think that members items should not take up bank space if you are F2P.

Countless times I have accidentally taken off members clothing and had to switch to a members world just to put them back on. slanty.gif
Its a Liger
Once people get membership, they should automatically get max bank space on that account for life. I can't use my bank space right now because It's full of members objects and I'm f2p.

I believe Jagex said they were working on a system that allows ex members to put away their members items until they get membership again, but they said its still being made and wont be released for awhile. I think it would be much more simple to give members bank space to ex members. It's not like they can trade it, and having unlimited space for f2p after members would be a good incentive to pay. Right now my account is nearly unplayable and it's pissing me off.

You should also be able to sell any members item you still have in the ge.

You can do that. Just wear your stuff in a member's world, and then log into a nonmembers world. All member's items then just are pixels on your person, with no bonuses. I remember once that I had my whip in my hand, but was kicking people.

But what's the reason for you not being able to safely deposit them or to re-equip something like a skill cape purely for looks, while still not receiving bonuses?

Hey look! An idea!

There's a very easy way to get around not being able to use members objects in non-members worlds.

Buy membership.

He meant equip and unequip them. If you unequip a members item on a F2P world, then you can't put it back on.

What happens when your membership runs out? Now you're screwed! You have to drop it; there's no usable bank space and you can't sell it.

Drop my best armor? I'd rather clear out my bank, or just keep it on me.

What if you need to use a different non-member armour? And it will be pretty hard to clear out your bank without dropping anything considering the F2Per only has 68 bank spaces.
