So I'm looking for a cheap tablet to just mess around with, don't really need it for anything serious.

Definitely suggest that. Wacom makes some pro tablets.

You can actually buy the same thing refurbished from WACOM themselves for cheaper online I do believe. And yes WACOM is pro.
