Pokémon: Sinnoh Nights
Yo, Batman here, (aka Amongst Your Flames, aka Mclenz) with a Pokemon RP. I've done Pokemon RPs in the past but they tended to have annoying rules and consisted of me trying too hard to make it as organized as possible, when the most important thing was having fun. So this RP is going to be really chill and laid back, but there are still rules (I don't need anyone trying to divide by zero...)

- Follow forum rules, no spamming, flaming, and all that bad stuff- dont do it!
- I am a mod of this RP, Nachomamma8 is also a mod
- No acting like a god, you're gonna lose eventually
- Have fun!!
- No one liners, they're annoying and add nothing to the story
- Don't make big decisions for other characters, but very minor control is allowed.

Cyrus, the 27 year old leader of Team Galactic is trying to round up the legendary Lake Pokemon: Uxie, Mespirit, and Azelf. With their combined powers the Legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia will appear. With their presence, Cyrus can create a new world from the Spear Pillar of Mt. Coronet, where it is said Giratina resides.
Giratina is a Shadow Pokemon capable of crossing between The Torn World, and Earth as we know it. Giratina has the capabilities of creating whole new worlds, and this power is what Cyrus wishes to make his own.
Our story begins with Galactic obtaining the Lake Pokemon, first with Uxie at Lake Valor next to Snowpoint City.

Mclenz:Name: Mike

Trainer Type: Psychic
Background: Mike is a member of the Elite 4 who once tried to face the Champion, only to lose and find himself confused and lost wondering why he was ever a trainer at all. After much training and guidance from Lance, Mike found himself in the Elite 4 itself. Since his guidance from Lance he has become more calm, and has found solace in his life. He is very passionate, and despite finding solace in his life, can get very temperamental when pushed to the breaking point But when Galactic began their work, Mike was commissioned to chasing after them, and after three years of tailing the group, he has found himself in the snowy mountain range below Snowpoint.

Orange is the loudest person he knows, and he's used to that same mouth, that same arrogance, getting him into trouble. He always seems to have money, but his thirst for more of it is never sated.

Age: 18
Trainer Type: Ace Trainer
Background: He was born in Johto, but his father had to repeatedly move to keep his job. For his tenth birthday, his father gave him a Eevee, and he immediatly loved it. Not having many freinds, he completely lavished the Eevee, and soon it evolved into an Espeon. Since then, he's gone through many adventures. If you don't know him, he usually likes to leave others to their buisness, but if he knows you, he'll be very humorous, and probably trusting. He's faced many troubles because he's too trusting.

But before they challenged the Elite Four, they decided to stop fighting for reasons unknown and they began to peruse other goals.

He has few good friends, he has two very good friends who he can share everything, His Lucario who can use his pyscic abbilties to communicate with him and is used as a translator for Treecko. He is thought high of as a ranger by fellow rangers who are always trying to make him more open to them.

"So it's agreed, we'll move at dawn and try to reclaim Lake Acuity and save Uxie from that Galactic scum." said Flint, a fellow Elite 4 member to Mike. Mike looked around him and saw only bundled figures and puffs of breath. He was in a tent in the snowy mountain range below Lake Acuity and Snowpoint City with Lieutenants of Lance's Army. The team's objective was simple: save Uxie.
Mike, Flint, Volkner of Sunnyshore's Gym, and Candice of Snowpoint were all in charge of leading an assault on Lake Acuity. Due to the fragility of the Lake, Lance could only afford to send in a few small Special Forces units, and Flint was in charge of Mike's unit. The usually quiet Volkner spoke up for one of the first times during their journey "It'll be too late by dawn, I know this is the only rest we've had in two days, but if we don't keep moving, Uxie will be gone. I say we move out once night falls." Flint looked discouraged, there was a good chance of casualties in this negative degree weather if they moved out at night fall, but Flint knew Volkner was right.
"Let's split up!" said Candice. She grabbed onto Mike's arm surprising him for a moment. She turned to Flint and said "Mike and I can head out and run reconnaissance now, followed in the morning by you and Volkner!" Flint sent Mike a discerning smirk. "I think we should separate you two... for Mike's sake..." Mike stood up grabbing his parka. "It's fine Flint, based on the Pokemon we've all brought, Candice and I can cover a wider range of types than if we were separated." Candice threw herself at Mike giving him a huge hug as chuckles were thrown Mike's way by Volkner. Mike and Candice had first met five years prior when he fought her for her Gym badge. Ever since that battle Mike has found himself under the infatuate eye of Candice. Flint nodded and began preparations for what will soon be known as the most arduous battle ever to find itself under Snowpoint's wing...

"What is with the world?" Lars overheard a man at the dinner looking up at the news on the TV. Lars looked over a second and Dizzy looked over Lars shoulder from his backpack to look to.
"We bring you breaking news it appears Lake Acuity has been under recent attack. For what reason, who, and how have been kept secret, but we have been told officials are trying to control and put a stop to the chaos. Until more news comes in we must only wonder what is going on in our town to the far north." The reporter said.
When Lars heard that he looked over at Dizzy that he could tell was in a state of disbelief to.
Lars walked out of the dinner to a small house on the outskirts of Floaroma and one the way his Pokemon that were outside enjoying the weather could see in both Dizzy and Lars were upset by something. So they followed him just knowing he had some news.
Once all his Pokemon were there he looked at each one before he sighed and slowly. "There is some bad news, Lake Acuity had and probably still is under attack, and well we can't sit here and do nothing. So have decided those that want to come can, but I'm not going to force you to come okay. So who wants to see what is going on and see if we can help?"
All of his pokemon looked at each other for a second and then they all looked at him and without saying a word he could see there was no way any of them were wanted to be left behind.

"Well, Espeon, looks like we're almost there." Lyon said. His Espeon cooed, and then sat beneath the shade of a table. Lyon leaned against the railing of the boat, facing the approaching Sinnoh region.
"You headin' to Sinnoh, kid?" A woman asked.
"Yeah." Lyon replied. He took out his Poke'nav and checked the course. According to this, they would be there within about a day.
"I'd head back if I were you. I heard that that Team Galactic is getting pretty hectic. If it weren't for my job, I'd be back home in Kanto." The woman said.
"What ever. Me and Espeon here can handle whatever they throw at us. And besides, I'm fresh outa funds. I can't go back even if I wanted to." Just to prove it, he took out his wallet and emptied it. He had about enough for a Pokeball.
Suddenly, a voice was heard over the speakers.
"Hello. Do not panic. Just give up all your Pokemon, and we'll let you all go on your way. This is Team Galactic. I repeat. Just give us your Pokemon, then we'll arrive."
"Well then. Eapeon, do we want to give up?" Espeon shook itself, and it glowed with Psychic power. "That's what I thought."

Mike and Candice found themselves in blind weather conditions. Mike sent out his Magmortar to heat up around them as they walked. "Mike..." said Candice. Mike ignored her and kept pushing on as he trudged through the snow. "Mike... do you hate me?" she asked. Mike looked over at her "Of course not, I just... I dunno, I'm not someone you want to be with..." said Mike. Candice gave an upsetting look. "Why don't you let me be the judge of that then!" she shouted. Mike shook his head "You know my commitment to the League, just look as us... people are going to die today, this is my job Candice, I'm in the Elite 4... I have enemies. Enemies that want to see me suffer any way possible, Cyrus is one of them. I'm sorry Candice." said Mike. It grew quiet for the remainder of their journey to Lake Acuity.
Mike sigh heavily, kicking some snow. "What's wrong, Mike?" asked Candice. Mike looked down at his phone "Volkner won't answer, and I can't get in contact with any of the other forces... this isn't good..." said Mike. Candice leaned up against a tree kicking around a snow patch in front of her. "Well... we have to go in anyway, we can't let Flint and Lance down, yeah we'll be out numbered, but i have faith in us as trainers." said Candice. Mike nodded in agreement. "I'll move in head on, I want you to go around and sneak in, you can save Uxie while I fight the the punks Cyrus decided to send here." said Mike. Candice looked at Mike in fear. "Mike... I'm scared..." said Candice. Mike walked over to her and gave her a hug "Me too..."
Mike climbed a small cliff to get up to the lake. Candice and Mike had already parted ways and Mike could just barely see her entering the surrounding forest. He found himself at the entrance, he was nervous, and his stomach began to knot. From the intelligence briefings he knew Jupiter would be there, and with an army. Mike sent out the other two Pokemon he brought with him, Chimecho, his first Pokemon, and Luxray. "Magmortar, Chimecho, Luxray... what you're about to face will change you forever, let's hope it will be for the best." said Mike. He received accepting nods. "Alright... let's go!" shouted Mike running into the clearing entering the lake.

Orange smirked, staring at the old man in front of him. A pair of dice rattled in his hands like the bones of the dead as the old man look at him with a worried look on his face. "Are you sure you want to do this, old man? I really hate taking the elderly's money like this..."
The old man stood unblinking before nodding slowly. "Bring it on."
Laughing, Orange shook the dice harder. "I admire your confidence, Grandpa. Foolish, but still admirable." Both Orange and the old man stared at the dice as they suddenly flew out of the younger's hand. "Six." Orange suddenly said, snapping. The dice hit the table, one landing on 4 and the other just sitting and spitting. A look of hope sprang onto the old man's face as the dice drew still, but it was Orange who laughed as it completely stopped.
"Sorry, Grandpa... but you have to pay up." The old man muttered, reaching into his pockets and turning them inside out. "I'm broke..." Orange frowned, reaching for a Pokeball. "What else can you give me, old man?"
The wrinkled little man blinked, as if he was thinking before reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a small paper note. He slapped it on the table with a long hesitation, and grinned at Orange. "I'm too old to make the journey, but... you seem young enough and strong enough to manage."
Staring at the old man suspiciously, Orange hungrily opened the note, scanning it quickly. "Hm." he remarked, nodding at the old man. "Sinnoh, huh?"

Ace has been sitting in his hut blindlessly starring at the T.V when the news flashes on the announcer announced "Breaking News coming to you first thanks to the Jubilife Pokemart, A large attack has been made onto Lake Acuity officials are not releasing any info as of yet and looks like it will stay that way for a whi-" the T.V was switched off as Ace went to his cupboard and stuffed his ranger gear into his bag, He pushed the door closed and opened his door to the outside world. A swift noises could be heard through the forest which surrounded him and suddenly two Pokémon emerged they were Lucario and Treecko. "Where to master?" asked Lucario through his mind.
"Snowpoint" thought Ace. Lucario looked as if he was contacting Treecko. Treecko suddenly sped off followed by Lucario then Ace came running up behind them. They sped through the forest at top speed until blocking their path was a group of Burmy. Lucario ran up to the Burmy and started to access their mind. Slowly but surely the Burmy parted and disappeared into the forest. Ace's quest had only just begun.

What Mike was faced with made him stop in his tracks. "Those idiotic newscasters told us you were coming, sweetheart." said Jupiter. Jupiter stood firm with over 500 trainers behind her. 500 might not seem like a lot, but Mike had to assume they all had six Pokemon with them, the numbers add up.
"Jupiter!! I'm here to stop you from taking Uxie!!" shouted Mike. Jupiter and her minions began to laugh, but Mike's adrenaline was pumping like nothing he ever felt, and he didn't even blink. Trainers began to send out their Pokemon and Magmortar and Luxray got into ready positions while Chimecho was floating around above Mike. "You have three Pokemon with you Michael, we have thousands. You may be in the Elite 4, but nobody, not even Lance, is that tough." said Jupiter laughing again. Mike quickly glanced across the lake. He could see Uxie's cavern, and could vaguely make out Candice entering it. Mike smiled knowing Uxie will have a better chance with Candice protecting it. "Then maybe I should challenge Lance to a rematch!" said Mike still smiling. Jupiter laughed again. "Galactic! ... ATTACK!!!!" she shouted. Mike was immediately blown back by a huge Psychic wave from a Kadabra. Magmortar was taking names, and quickly, but more times than once he almost fell into the lake, which would surely kill him, especially in this cold. Luxray was having a much easier time, he was fierce, although taken aback a few times, he was standing his ground. Chimecho was acting almost comical, it kept using its Psy to lift Pokemon and throw them in the lake, laughing as they frantically swam back ashore.
Mike himself was getting hit by more attacks than his Pokemon. Fortunately he was a trained Psychic, and was able to avoid a few with swift movements. In the end it almost didn't matter, Mike was going to die, and he knew it. "LET'S GO!!!!!" Mike heard from behind him. The rest of the special forces units arrived, including Lance himself riding a Dragonite. "MIKE FALL BACK!!!" shouted Lance. Mike fell to the ground, he couldn't move let alone fall back. "WHERE'S CANDICE!?!?!?" shouted Volkner. Mike pointed at Uxie's cavern, and Lance immediately flew over. Magmortar came over and picked up Mike. He then ran over to a Frosslass that belonged to one of Lance's units. Magmortar said something Mike couldn't fully make out to Frosslass and it made an ice bridge across to the cavern. Luxray started to run across it followed by Magmortar. His heat was melting the bridge behind him, and if he stopped for even a second, they would go under. Chimecho followed in the air taking any attacks aimed at Magmortar. Some of Jupiter's troops began to realize what was happening, and started making ice bridges of their own. Magmortar made it across putting Mike on Luxray's back. Luxray ran into the cavern, while Magmortar stayed outside to melt the enemy bridges.
"MIKE!!!" shouted Candice. Candice began to cry. "MIKE ANSWER ME!!!" she shouted even louder. Mike rolled off of Luxray. "Mag...mortar..." said Mike. He could here the pain Magmortar was enduring holding back the army. "Lance... Candice... we gotta fight."

Lyon dispatched the third Galactic Grunt, and headed inside the Captain Quarters. There, Lyon saw the captain tied up, and a guy with blue hair standing above him.
"Hey, kid, you didn't have to come here to give me that pokemon." The man said.
"If you haven't noticed, your guards are down. Just leave the ship, and I won't have to make you cry." Lyon replied. His Espeon let out a low growl.
"Heh, you're a little touchy for a kid. Go, Feraligator!" He tossed out a Feraligator. Lyon's Espeon walked forward.
"Good. I was getting bored." Lyon said. His grin was showing on his face.

Ace had been fighting his way all day in hope to make it to the fight area for his ride to Snowpoint City, Lucario could see something in the distance he climbed a try at great pace.
"Fight area up ahead, but hundreds of people trying to get onto the ferry." said Lucario using telepath into Ace's mind.
"Just keep going" said Ace bluntly.
Ace continued to run until they had arrived at the docks, there were people in every direction all wanting a ferry ride, thinking that they could help in the attack on Lake Acuity. There was no chance that they would be able to get on the ferry instead Ace headed of to the nearby Pokemon Centre. He ran up to the P.C and started making a call. Another Pokemon Ranger popped up on screen.
"Ace!" she exclaimed.
"Ok no time to talk you have to get me the ranger Lapras, before you ask it is a emergency as you would have heard there has been a attack on Lake Acuity and there is no way i'll be able to get on the ferry from the fight area." rushed Ace.
"Ok, sending her through now."sighed the other ranger.
The pokeball appeared in a cirleish hole, Ace grabbed it and ran out the door, people all around him were looking at him with confused faces.
Ace ran up to the waters edge and threw up Lapras's pokeball and a large, magnificent creature appeared. In a dash Ace and his two pokemon jumped on and left for their journey to Snowpoint.

Snowpoint was cold, a bit to cold for this time of year. Ace again started running again, he was extremely fit, he only spent seconds in Snowpoint City before he left to go to Lake Acuity. Lake Acuity was just around the corner he arrived at the small patch of forest just before the Lake, Treecko and Lucario jumped in the air and jumped over the tree tops. What they saw was saddening, Pokémon lying on the ground everywhere, with others stil fighting. It looked like there was no hope for those who tried to fight of Team Galactic. Lucario suddenly started letting off some type of psychic energy then a huge burst of light which blinded everyone around them, Lucario and Treecko were a burst of hope for those who were fighting. The blindness that everyone had was gone. Several of Team Galactic had been defeated, Ace appeared out of the forest and the first thing he saw was a lady crying over the body of a man. He ran over to her
"Your going to have to step away so I can examine him." said Ace.
The lady backed away still crying.
"Lucario!" yelled Ace.
All of a sudden Lucario appeared beside Ace.
"Help me with him if you don't mind, we have to get him to Snowpoint or there could be trouble.

Mike stepped out of the cavern just in time to be temporarily blinded by what appeared to be a Lucario. "Some kind of crazy Aura Sphere..." said Lance. Mike smiled, Team Galactic was on the run, Jupiter had already been defeated by Flint, and the few Galactic members that remained fought in confusion. Mike returned his three Pokemon to their balls and leaned up against the cavern. "Where did Uxie go?" asked Candice. Mike turned around and stumbled into the cave. "Uxie... ?" asked Mike. He asked again and was answered by laughter outside of the cavern. "Jupiter!!" shouted Lance. Mike ran back outside only to see Jupiter flying away on a Crobat holding Uxie in some type of sealed container. "NOO!!!!!" screamed Lance. He jumped on his Dragonite and chased after her. "Mike! We have to do something!!" said Candice. Mike was still weak, and he began to grow dizzy. "Candice... help..." said Mike. He stumbled over and fell into the lake. He grew very cold, and he was quickly engulfed in darkness...

Orange hated the snow. He hated more than anything else; it was cold, freezing, and wet. He longed for the comforting atmosphere of the casino, but he couldn't back down where money was involved. Ahead of him, Seth, a fellow gambler and a long-time friend who loved money just as much as Orange did, trudged through the snow, following the directions of his Pelipper. After walking in silence for a while, they finally stood over the fight scene, surveying thousands of Pokemon charging a tiny group of trainers. Orange grinned as the Trainers held their own, repelling and crushing the less-skilled Galactics. "Seth, I think we have people who can help us achieve our goal... Especially after we give them a bit of help, eh?" Seth nodded, signaling to Pelipper to drop them off a little in the midst of the retreating Galactic forces.
Without a word, Seth called out his Altaria, and Orange allowed Ninetails and Starmie to come out. The Galactic forces didn't even pay attention to the two new arrivals, save one Grunt who directed a Blizzard attack at the two Trainers. Both's Pokemon dodged far out of the way, but the Gamblers found themselves trapped under a feet of snow. Orange was the first to burst out of the pile, teeming with rage. "No more games. Starmie, Ninetails... Firestorm!"
Ninetails set up the attack with a Sunny Day, halting the snow Orange hated so much, and replacing them with the Sun's wonderful rays. Starmie then lifted Ninetales far into the air using Psychic, allowing the Fox pokemon to use Fire Blast, unleashing a Firestorm upon the Galactics below. Ninetales was then released from Starmie's grip and lowered onto the ground below as Thunderbolts began raining down. Orange grinned, Ninetales at his side. "Now for the finisher!" Ninetales trilled, eyes beginning to glow and a strange aura appearing around her as the temperature of the air began to rise almost automatically KOing all Pokemon that could feel the temperature and leaving a huge hole in the middle of the Galactic forces, affording only a few of the grunts to escape, including the leader who was making an escape on a Crobat.
Orange grinned at his handiwork, gesturing to Seth to bring him closer to the trainers. He leaped off Pelipper when he saw a purple-haired Psychic that had caught his attention earlier. "Starmie, refresh." A glowing light fell over the psychic, and he blinked a few times as his consciousness came back. Orange put a finger close to his eye, bringing it in closer, then pushing it out farther. When the psychic's eyes followed his finger, Orange nodded satisfactorily, turning to Seth. "We're too late."
Altaria and Pelipper landed on the ground, picking Orange and Seth up and taking them towards the lady flying away on a Crobat. "Tail her as far as you can manage, she might take us to Cyrus..."

Mike watched as the two trainers that saved him flew away with Lance after Jupiter. Although fierce, the battle was dying down, and Mike needed medical attention. He left the fight in the hands of Volkner, Flint, and the few other trainers that were left and Candice took Mike back to Snowpoint to be treated with his Pokemon. Mike was quickly bandaged up and made his way to the PC to withdraw Crobat, Exploud, and Dragonite, topping off his six allowed Pokemon.
"Mike I'm glad you're okay, you had me really worried..." said Candice. Mike smiled and even though she freaked Mike out regularly, he knew no one cared about him and his safety quite the way she did. "Thank you Candice, you're the best friend I think I've ever had, I'm very grateful that you've taken care of me." Mike said as Candice's face lit up. She laughed a little but was interrupted by Mike's cell phone.
"Hello?" asked Mike. "Mike, it's Lance, we've got a problem." he responded. "Oh no... what happened?" asked Mike. "Jupiter made it back to the Headquarters with Uxie, and if you thought the army at Acuity was bad, you haven't seen anything yet, we had to back down. A few trainers joined me in tailing her, but she was too darn fast, and at this point we need to focus on saving Mespirit and Azelf." said Lance. Mike pondered for a second and responded. "I agree, I don't know what Cyrus is planing, but if it's what I think it is, then he needs all three Spirits in order to summon Dialga and Palkia, or so the legend goes. So if at least one of them is safe, we should be fine, contact the forces we have stationed at the other two Lakes and tell them to stay on their guard, I know it's soon, but we need to give those Lakes reinforcements." Lance kept silent for a few seconds then replied "Do you really think he's going to the Spear Pillar with all of this madness?" asked Lance. "You know better than I do the crazy schemes Cyrus has pulled so far, who's to say he isn't going to try and summon the legendary beasts themselves." said Mike. "Yeah, you're probably right... listen I'm heading back to the lake to finish things up, do you need anything before I go there?" asked Lance. "Oh, can you ask those two trainers that are with you to come back to Snowpoint? I need to properly thank them for saving me." asked Mike. Lance agreed with Mike wishes and hung up.
Candice was watching the television when breaking news from Acuity flashed on the screen. "Over three hundred confirmed casualties including trainers and Pokemon at Lake Acuity today, and the battle still rages on! Officials are still keeping their lips shut as-" Candice looked away from the newscaster and looked up at Mike. "This is just getting started... isn't it?"

We lost her. Orange thought to himself, restraining from banging his head against the wall. Lance was speaking with the purple-haired trainer, leaving Seth and Orange to do nothing but sit around and wait. Finally, their conversation ended and Lance turned to Orange. "You should return to Snowpoint, so Mike can thank you properly..."
Orange nodded, and passed the information along to Seth. The two flying Pokemon Seth had brought with him brought them back to Snowpoint city in silence, where Orange withdrew Hitmonlee, Metagross, Ninjask, and Sandslash, topping off the six pokemon he was allowed. As the nurse healed his Pokemon, she made small talk with him, explaining where to find the purple-haired Psychic.
Only a few minutes later, Orange and Seth found themselves trudging through the snow yet again, towards the hut Mike was staying in. He knocked on the door a bit tenatively, hoping he had found the right place.

Mike had made his way back from the Pokemon center to Candice's guest cabin. "Thanks again Candice, you've been really helpful to me, I don't know how I'd be able to repay you." said Mike starting a fire in the hearth. Candice put down a book she was reading and looked over at him "How does making me hot cocoa sound?" she said smiling. Mike laughed and made his way to the kitchen annex.
Someone knocked on the door and Candice answered it. Mike looked over to see the two trainers from earlier, Mike was surprised with how fast they made it. They looked cold, hungry, and beaten from the earlier battles. "Cocoa, gentlemen?" asked Mike. They nodded with slight shivers and wasted no time to get a warm seat in front of the fireplace. "It's Seth and Orange, correct? Lance spoke with me about you earlier. I have asked you to come here for two reasons. One is to thank you. You both displayed true qualities of what makes a real trainer, I personally want to thank you not just for battling along side us, but for saving my life." said Mike. Mike took a sip of his Cocoa as Candice came over with two cups for their guests.
"The other is to ask something of you that doesn't happen often." said Mike stopping only to take another sip. "Lance's Army is a very exclusive group of the top trainers in their respective region of choice. Holding the position of Lieutenant General, I can recruit and dismiss soldiers as I please. Lance will be making a broadcast tomorrow night allowing any trainer to join our ranks in order to prevent the casualties we saw today at Acuity, and when that time comes, I want you two to be Majors." said Mike looking over at Candice who nodded in agreement. Mike then turned to his guests "So, what do yah say? Are you in?"

"We rest, Galactic suffered worse than we did, and from the sound of it they need a rest even worse than we do. Not to mention they're still stationed at their headquarters. Sinnoh Police are on high alert too, if Cyrus was smart, he'd wait before trying again, which unfortunately for us, he probably will." said Mike. Candice leaned over and whispered in Mike's ear. Mike nodded and turned toward Seth and Orange "Candice and I would like to offer you quarter here, it's often use as an Army rest stop overnight, and it would only be sensible if we gave you the choice to stay." said Mike. "If you guys need anything just let me know! Especially you!" said Candice winking at Mike. She got up and made her way to her bedroom.
"Are you two... like an item?" asked Seth. Mike laughed "She would like nothing more than for us to be, let's put it that way. Alright well, if you're hungry there's food in the kitchen as well as more cocoa, and two beds up in the loft. I'm tired, and nursing a few sores, so we can talk strategy at our briefing in Sandgem tomorrow afternoon. Lance has called all his top ranking soldiers to Rowan's lab for a meeting, and since you two are new, you're required to sit-in on a meeting, but don't worry you won't have to go to anymore after this one." said Mike. He got up and made his way to the bedroom next to Candice's "Goodnight gents, keep up the good work, and you'll go far. I'll seeya at breakfast!"

Seth went to bed almost immediately, but Orange hung around for a while and made a pot of hot cocoa for Ninetales. The Pokemon, impatient as Orange boiled the water, quickly improvised and created some heat of his own. Orange glared at the mystical Pokemon, but it only looked back with a blank, innocent expression. "You could burn down this house, and we are nothing more than quests here..." he began to lecture, but the hungry look in Ninetales's eyes told him the Pokemon could care less. Sighing, Orange poured the hot cocoa in a bowl and laid it down on the ground. After lapping up the sugary drink, Ninetales curled into a ball and promptly fell asleep, leaving Orange to clean up the mess she made. Grumbling as he tracked down a mop, he cleaned the kitchen floor, then, with a grunt, picked up the furball that was sleeping on the ground and gently laid the still-sleeping Pokemon on the foot of his bed. Orange crawled underneath the color and was knocked out almost immediately, dreaming of the love he had left back home.

"Heh, not bad kid." the Galactic Leader said, "You have some skill with that Espeon, but I think it's time we make our getaway." Like it was cued, a helicopter lowered beside the boat. "Go, Skuntank!" Lyon frowned. There was no way he could beat a dark pokemon and stop him from getting away. He couldn't just turn his direction away from the other pokemon, but there wasn't anything he could do.
"Milotic! Water Pulse!" A huge wave of water washed over the Skuntank, and a Milotic slithered by and joined Lyon's Espeon.
"Are you alright?" The woman said.
"Fine, But they're getting away!" Lyon said.
"You can't catch him now! We have to take back all the people you already beat, but he's nearly gone already."

How many more Pokemon are going to attack? Well no matter, Swindle, Mega get them out of here." Lars said as he threw two Pokeballs in front of him. Quickly the Snovers were defeated, but right before they ran one fired a Razor Leaf, Swindle quickly used his arm blades to knock them above everyone's head. But it hit a tree right behind Lars that knocked the snow off the branches and fell on Lars.
Mega and Swindle looked over to see how their trainer was going to react to his unexpected snow fall. Lars stood up and began to wipe the snow off him. "I hate the snow." He said in a some what sarcastic tone. They all laughed for a second and they walked the rest of the way to the Snowpoint City.
"My legs are killing me." Lars said as he walked into the Pokemon center. "Well it is getting late, tomorrow we will talk to Candice she probably knows what is going on."

Mike woke up to find Candice had made him breakfast in bed. "Haha, even though she's crazy, yah gotta love that girl." said Mike to himself. He ate quickly and made his way into the shower. He got dressed and entered the living room to find everyone eating like it was the first food they've seen in days, and to be honest, it really was. "G'morning Mike!" said Candice running over and giving him a hug. Mike thanked her for breakfast and sat down at the table. "Alright fellas, it's a four hour boat ride from Snowpoint to Canalave port next to Sandgem. We're going to stop at the Pokemon Center and the Pokemart before heading out. Our boat leaves in... one hour, so you better be ready." said Mike.
The two continued eating while Mike cleaned up after Candice's cooking. "Hey uh... can I talk to you in my room real quick?" asked Mike. Candice looked at him oddly but nodded. The two walked into Mike's room and sat down on the bed. "You're not coming." said Mike. Candice gave Mike a puzzled look. "But... why?!?" she asked. Mike looked over at her sad stare "Because I can't afford to lose you. You've been such a good friend, and after nearly dying myself, I couldn't bring myself to get you a boat ticket." he replied. Candice shook her head "We make such a good team and we're best friends dammit!! I can hold my own, you know that!! I lasted long at Acuity then you did, what makes you think you need to protect me?? It's not like we're together, no thanks to you!!!" shouted Candice. She began to cry and Mike pulled her towards him in a hug. "Candice... Snowpoint needs you, your gym needs you. I promise you, after all this is over, I'm coming back to Snowpoint, permanently." said Mike. Candice wiped her tears and looked up at him. "... Mike only if you promise me one thing." she said grabbing his hand. "Anything." he said. "Give me a chance." she said it so simply, but with so much pain. All these years Mike had been avoiding any kind of relationship with her, but as these trying times held heavy on his mind, he realized how much of a jerk he had been, and how much better she deserved in her life. Mike stared down at the floor as tears filled his eyes. "Well...? I won't wait around fore-" was all she got out before Mike kissed her. He leaned back with a single tear dripping down his face "I'm so sorry Candice, I've been terrible to you! You deserve so much more than I can give you, but I promise I will try, just wait for me, I'll be back." said Mike. Candice nodded, she never looked so happy despite the look of shock that was on her face. "Ugh... those guys are gonna think I'm a sissy if i walk out with tear filled eyes!" said Mike laughing and wiping his eyes with his sleeve. Candice hit his arm "Oh shush!" she said giving him one last hug before he left the room.
Mike walked into the living room where Seth and Orange were talking amongst themselves. "Ready to go soldiers?" asked Mike with a smile.

After waking up him and Dizzy were about to go see Candice to see if she knew what happened and is happening right now. He began to walk over when his phone began to ring he answered it to find it was his friend Jim. "Jim what is is?" Lars asked as he sat on a bench on the street.
"Well I was doing some digging when I found out all these details. It was as many would guess Team Galactic, but what they wanted is apparently a Legendary Pokemon named Uxie." Jim said.
"Uxie. I thought the creatures of the lakes were just rumors." Lars said as he could hear the distinct sound of a computer keyboard being typed.
"Well if it was rumors and myths then why did the official report from the rescue group they got away with him. Either the cold messed with all their minds or he is real." Jim said.
"But does mean the other myths are true to? And wait a second how did you get a hold of the official file." Lars said.
There was a long silence and then Jim said quietly. "Um I kind of hacked their files."
"Jim you did what?" Lars said trying not to yell.
"Um yes, but as we speak I'm trying to see what Team Galactic is up to. But it already appers the damage you did a few years ago has done nothing to them. Well bye." Jim said as fast as he could and then Lars heard a click as the other side hung up.
"Well Dizzy now we really need to see Candice." Lars said as he got up and continued to walk to Candice's house. "She probably doesn't remember our match." Lars said as he looked at his badge case with eight dusty badges.

Mike, Seth, and Orange exited the house just as a trainer approached in a purple suit. "If you're here for Candice she's inside the house." said Mike. Candice had just opened the door to hand Mike his League ID, which he had a history of forgetting. "Thanks Candice... they woulda had a field day of jokes if i had forgotten this again!" said Mike laughing. She gave him a light smack on the back of his head. "You three be careful, I have a feeling I'll be seeing you all soon!" she said as they walked toward the dock. "Oh uh hello... wait! I remember you! Yeah... you beat me!! You're Lars!! I never forget the ones that get away!" she said. "She's not kidding!!" shouted Mike who was just in earshot. "Hey! You're not funny!!" said Candice receiving laughs from the departing group. Candice then returned her attention to the trainer. "So Lars, what can I do for yah?"

A small film crew stared diligently at Lance who was announcing to the world open registration to his army. "The Evils of Team Galactic have proven to be of a high risk to citizens all over Sinnoh. With the always evident problems of Team Rocket in Johto and Kanto, the League has found itself depleted of available trainers to send to Sinnoh. It is under these binding times that we feel it is necessary to allow registration of any trainer willing to fight for Sinnoh under the cause of Justice. It will not be easy. Casualties were high at Acuity. I'm not going to stand before you and lie, it was gruesome. We employ only the most talented leaders to train you. Two of our very own Elite 4 members, and over 5 gym leaders spanning across Sinnoh and Hoenn found themselves battling against Cyrus' army above Snowpoint. But we are a strong army, with good intentions, and because of this, out of the over the now estimated 407 casualties, only 12 were of our own, and as we mourn for these twelve I ask you Sinnoh: Will you allow this country to suffer but one more casualty? I'm not here to give you propaganda, just the facts, and ultimately to ask for help. If you are interested we are having sign-ups at Pokemon Centers and Gyms starting at 3 o'clock today. Currently all Gym challenges are still being taken but there will be delays for Volkner of Sunnyshore, and Candice of Snowpoint. Thank you Sinnoh, and even if you do not wish to sign up, we suggest keeping your Pokemon out of their balls at night to help keep you protected. Good afternoon, and be safe." Lance waited for the camera to shut off and he stood up. "Thanks everyone, that'll be all, no interviews, we have a League meeting in a very short period of time, so unfortunately we're going to have to dismiss you at this time!" said Professor Rowan pushing the news crew outside. "Ugh... i hate film crews..." said Rowan receiving laughs from Lance and a few other league members that were in the room. "Well don't worry, due to time constraints it had to be done here, but I promise it won't happen again." said Lance. Flint entered the lab waving to his fellow Sinnoh League members. "Good to see you Flint, almost everyone is here now. Mike should be here soon, as well as Bruno and Will from Kanto's Elite 4. I tried letting Cynthia know, but she keeps to herself quite a bit, I don't think we'll be sueeing her anytime today..." Lance had an upsetting look, but he had to remain focus, this meeting could decide the fate of Sinnoh...

OC: Well we're on our way to take a boat trip to Canalave, you can take control of my character for small things such as dialogue actions and whatever else you seem necessary to help, just don't go overboard with control and no getting me into a battle! lol. But yeah a boat ride to Canalave should prove to be interesting if you wanna IC about that.

She glared at him, clenching a Pokeball tighter in her hand. "Too dangerous? What do you mean, too dangerous? I have eight badges same as you do, and I've only lost to you. I can handle myself just as well as you can, if not better-"
He shook his head. "No, it's not that. It's Cyrus. I have... unfinished business with him. I just don't want you seeing a part of me you won't like..."
She put her hands around his waists and pulled him closer to her, looking at him with a serious look in her eye. "I love you. I understand why you might be ashamed of your past, but that was then and this is now. I could never stop loving you, no matter what you've done in the past. We've been together for three years now; we've been through our own share of hardships ourselves, haven't we? I don't care about the deep dark side you keep hiding from me, I doubt it's as bad as you say it is. I know the generous, sweet Orange I know and love, and I will never lose that image. But if you truly feel that it's too dangerous, I'll stay."
Orange smiled, pain behind his eyes. He wanted her to come with him more than anything, but... he didn't want to lose her. He couldn't lose her, not now, not ever. She would be safe in their house; Roserade would protect her if anything went wrong. "Goodbye," he said to her, pulling her as close as two bodies could go, letting the tears behind his eyes pour out.
"Orange, wake up man!"
"Oh, right." Orange flipped the hoodie up from over his face, letting his eyes see the light of day again. He expertly reeled his fishing pole in again before casting it out again, snagging it by the reeds near shore. The captain of the ship had yelled at him for fishing earlier, but after a poker game or two, the captain had decided to let the gambler fish off the back of the boat. Reeling in yet another fish, Orange examined it for a while longer than released it back to the ocean.
"What were you dreaming about, anyways?" Seth asked, searching his friend's face.
"That card match with the captain earlier... I thought he had me!" Orange exclaimed, laughing.
"Hey, you!" An angry man with two Pokeballs in hand was glaring at Orange. Glad for the distraction, Orange jumped out of his seat and faced the man. "Hey, it's you! Still feeling a little sour over losing? It's okay, everyone does..."
"Shut up." The man said, throwing his Pokemon out. "Arcanine, Magnezone, crush him!"

Mike had a contact to meet on the boat, he could have just as easily flown to Sandgem, but what he had to do was important, it was personal and the League didn't need to know about it. Mike split ways from his companions for the time being and made his way to the bow. "I hate boats Eusine, I hope you're prepared." said Mike. Eusine, the famous Pokemon collector of Johto was on the boat waiting for Mike. "Michael ol' chap, you know prepared is my middle name!" he replied standing up to shake Mike's hand. "Yes well, let's see it then." said Mike. Both trainers sat down across from each other and Eusine took out a piece of paper. "Here's the map and directions, do EXACTLY as it says, and it will lead you to it." said Eusine. Mike folded up the map and put it in his coat pocket. "The agreement was the Pokemon itself. I could have found the way to go on my own." said Mike. Eusine grew angry. "It killed my Jumpluff!" said Eusine angrily, but quietly. Mike loosened a little and took out a small bronze bell. "I know we agreed to your payment in cash, but I have a feeling you'll find this a bit more valuable than the sum we agreed on. Eusine's face froze, and he even twitched a little. "This... this is Ecruteak City's Clear Bell from Johto... it summons Suicune... Mike... but..." Eusine barely found coherent words after that and Mike cupped the bell in his hands.
"You get this bell under one condition. I'm letting you in on information that only a few people know, so do NOT disappoint me." said Mike. Eusine moved right next to Mike so he could talk quieter. "Galactic took Uxie... now, at this point the League is letting Uxie stay with Galactic... but you and I both know that there's a good chance it will die and the natural balance of Sinnoh will be thrown into chaos. I can't go in myself, there are always eyes on a member of the Elite Four, and you're the only person I trust to do this for me." said Mike. Eusine agreed almost instinctively. "Oh and as for these directions... i better see a Heatran." said Mike pointing at the end of the written trail. Eusine stood up, and so did Mike. "You will Michael, you will." Mike handed Eusine the Clear Bell and the two parted ways. Mike made his way back to where he left Orange and Seth, only to see an angry man getting ready to battle Orange. "Geez... is he always like this?" asked Mike. Seth laughed and nodded. Mike laughed and joined in with the crowd's cheers "Come on Orange! Beat him!"

"Hitmonlee, show 'em what you got!"
A Hitmonlee appeared from a red, glowing light, kicking the air a few times. The man glared at Orange, tapping his foot on the ground. "Listen. I don't have all day, choose your other Pokemon already!"
Orange laughed. "I don't need two Pokemon to handle you... Let me show you why."
Hitmonlee ran forward toward the Arcanine, who made an attempt to jump away from Hitmonlee's furious kicks. This proved to be a mistake as Hitmonlee launched into the air, kicking Arcanine in the stomach with a High Jump Kick, and slamming the unfortunate fire Pokemon against a cabin wall. As Arcanine fell, its comrade shot a thunderbolt towards Hitmonlee with the idea of instant redemption, but Hitmonlee shook the electric shock off without much difficulty. He landed on the ground moments before Arcanine, the latter of which got up a lot slower than he should have.
"Magnezone, Spark! Arcanine, Flame Wheel!"
In response to its master, Magnezone began to crackle with an incredible amount of electricity, then took off towards Hitmonlee at an incredible rate of speed. Arcanine, hungry for vengeance, let loose a bloodthirsty howl before allowing incredibly hot flames to burst out of its pores, and begin a charge towards Hitmonlee from the opposite angle, effectively pinning him. Hitmonlee looked to his trainer for what to do, and Orange looked back, holding a hand up and signaling Hitmonlee to wait. "Hitmonlee, now! Detect then Slam!"
The man realized what was happening, and began desperately calling for his Pokemon to stop their attack, but it was too late. Hitmonlee leaped into a moment a second before the man's Pokemon crushed him, leaving them to collide with each other. Then, as he descended upon the ground, Hitmonlee brought a monstrous heel on the two disoriented Pokemon below him, simultaneously KOing them. Orange called Hitmonlee back, flashing the man an arrogant smile before bowing to the cheering crowd.

"He's good, there's no denying it!" said Mike to Seth who agreed with his cheers and shouts. The crowd died down Seth walked over to talk to Orange about the fight. Mike walked away leaving Orange to enjoy his victory. His cell phone rang, it was Candice. "Uh Mike?" she asked. "Hey Candice! Everything okay?" Mike said in return. Mike was near a communal lounge and he decided to sit down in front of the TV. "Yeah, well, remember that trainer who was visiting as you left?" she asked. "Uh yeah, he looked kinda familiar, does he need help or something?" he replied. "Yeah, he beat me for my badge not to long ago and well... he kinda knows about Uxie... and he wants details. What should I tell him?" she asked. Mike held his head in his hand. "Find out how he knows, he's either a Galactic affiliate, or there's been a leak at the League. Nonetheless, ask him to join the army, he'll find out soon enough. Lance's speech airs tonight on the news, he said he wouldn't reveal info about Acuity specifically, but we can only leave Sinnoh in the dark for so long... ugh.. just tell him, but if he was able to beat you, try and get him to join." said Mike letting go of his head. "Okay, I'll tell him. Well, bye Mike... I miss you!" she said. Mike smiled "I miss you too, dear. I'll be back in Snowpoint before you know it! I'll call you tonight, alright?" he asked. "Mmk! Don't forget!! Bye Mike!!!" she replied. Mike smiled and hung up. He looked across the room. It was a nice boat, Mike didn't understand why the League wasted their money letting him buy boat tickets for a few hour ride, but he didn't wanna question it, he enjoyed the luxuries of being part of the League. Mike watched a few terrible TV shows, and to avoid going crazy he left the room. "I wonder where Seth and Orange went...?"

OoC: Well you could head to the Pokemon Center to register for the army, you could do some battling, hell you could fly to Canalave and drop in on the party, I think Candice already said we'd be there. I hope to have all of us meet there, I'm pretty sure Falzar just got there, so i know we'll run into him probably either mine or nacho's next post or two. It's still early, the ball will surely get rolling, i have this entire plot thought out expanded off of the game as a backbone. And of course we'll diverge from it, thats how RPing works, an example is with the Heatran thing, that's a whooooollllleeeee different quest we'll probably tackle later, i just want to set it up, so if we get stuck we don't kill the RP yah know.
