We are pleased to announce that we have launched the RuneScape membership pre-pay card in Sainsbury’s stores throughout the United Kingdom. The card comes in two versions: 30 days' subscription for £4.99 and 90 days' subscription for £12.99.

Once you have purchased your card, you can use the PIN number on the back to subscribe to RuneScape. Click here to find out how.

These cards are also available in the United States, and they can be found in branches of Target, 7-Eleven, Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid. We are hoping to launch these convenient cards in more countries in the future, so keep an eye on ‘Recent News’ for updates.

About time, but why in Sainsburys? The nearest one is 6 miles away, in a town I have only ever been to once since there is nothing there...it would be far better if they had got M&S, Asda & Tesco on board...maybe soon? smile.gif

Asda makes more sense than Sainburys as they are partnered with Walmart in the US blink.gif

Although they may be owned by Walmart, my understanding is that they attempt to push down prices from suppliers (certainly smaller ones) significantly more (10-20%+) than Sainsburys do, same with Tesco, making much more financial sense for a partnership to be made where it has been.

Ty.

Yeah, not for me, seeing has how I have been using my dad's credit card for over 3 years... More than that I think. rolleyes.gif

But for a few of my 'IRL friends' it will be very nice to be able to play them in castle wars for once!

Thanks Jagex and Neo. wink.gif

I pay by credit card, so I cant really say that this affects me. Would like it if they did this with FunOrb, since I usually only buy membership every now and then, and most of the other payment methods are ridiculously expensive.
lil christo5
i use credit card as well .. so it doesn't effect me
