I have a vague memory of there being a bestiary in RuneScape. They took it out and it was accessible by a link in a God post.

Does the link exist or has it been deleted? Because in my memory is was pretty useful.. links? Alas, I doubt it exists though...

i remember that, it wasnt really informative and only had a select few monsters in it.

If there ever were such a link, I imagine it's been long since removed.
I've seen a couple of God's Letters from players that read things like...

Ohh I remember that! I used it to find about lesser demons. I'm pretty sure JaGex let the thing die into nothingness since I haven't used it since I first started playing.

I think at one time I had a shortcut on the desktop... on another computer that is now crashed and broken....

Its probably not there anymore, but oh well.

They removed it maybe because they wanted people to actually attack different monsters to see what their hp/drops/exp and stuff were.

It wasn't useful, but I still enjoyed reading their comments on the creatures.

Jagex's dry humour?

Now you mention it, I think I do. Chickens and imps spring to mind.

The good ol' days, I used that bestiary alot. Alas, all things come to an end...eventually.

even if they aren't going to update at least let us see it again

They only had a few monsters in there, right?

I believe they're all freeplay monsters too.

Yeah, when I joined RuneScape, there was a 'Bestiary' section accessible from the main screen. Good times.

Yaha. I do vaguely remember using this once or twice... But I usually just typed into YouTube, Sal's, RuneHQ... W/e for information/drops/how to kill certain beasts...

Good idea Jagex... Maybe if they covered all the monsters, but I don't think they desperately need to implement such a feature anytime soon...
