Introduction

Music has changed my life. The joy and ecstasy of listening to it, the wonders in my head of pure elation. The smooth, soft, flowing notes of grace, or maybe the fast, action-packed, invigorating music of awesomeness. However, strangely, music can be used in many other ways. Let's stretch our imagination and see what happens:

Chapter 1

Friday. One of the best days in Tyler's life. Today was when music class happened, and he got to jam on his guitar. The school bell rang, announcing that music class had started. Tyler jumped up at hearing the bell, and hurried over to his locker, where he snatched his guitar and ran to the music portables. Mr. Garplest sat in his conductor chair, as the students quickly set up they're intstuments.

"Hello everyone. Today is the day for your test, remember," said Mr. Garplest.

There were a few moans, but of course there were the "Yes!" sounds coming from the musical people.

"Tyler," Mr. Garplest said, "why don't you go first?"

Tyler confidently took out his music sheet, and performed the piece perfectly. "G, D, C, D, G, C, D, C, G, Eb, D, C, C, Bb, C, D."

"Well done, Tyler," Mr. Garplest said, looking proud. Everyone applauded. Tyler couldn't help it, but he let out a smile of triumph, implying, "I got perfect suckers!"

As the other students did the test, Tyler daydreamed. He pictured himself on a stage, performing the notes perfectly, while the crowd gave a standing ovation. Tyler smiled, his life would be a good one.

Constructive criticism please.

It's too hard to tell if the book is good, but the intro was pretty awesome. Kind of reminds me of the book "King Dork" by Frank Portman

Chapter 2

A+!!!! The mark Tyler had received for his music test. He returned home, went straight to the kitchen, where his mom was chopping up vegetables for dinner, and yelled out his mark. As he did, his mom practically ran over to him and literally covered him with hugs and kisses. She said for the weekend, because of his mark, he could have the Internet on. As Tyler retreated to his room, happily walking, he stumbled upon a weird object. It was a machine, all right, but it was handheld, and portable, like a DS. He shouted to his mom.

"Hey mom! What's this machine for?" he hollered.

"I don't know! Why don't you come show me?" was the reply. Tyler sighed. One of his mom's "silly" jokes. As he picked the machine up, he couldn't help but feel a weird sensation. He didn't know what it was... but, oh well, he thought. He returned to the kitchen. His mom eyed the machine suspiciously.

"Well, I don't know what this is, but you'd better give it to me," she said. Tyler just said, "Ok," handed her the device, and retreated to his room once again. He did a little happy dance, being still addicted to this new game he was introduced to a year ago, Runescape, and jacked in to the web. He logged in. Username: Rabbitfuzzy0. Password:********. Yes, yes... As he appeared in the online world, pure elation drifted into his head. He laughed as he saw all the "low-levels," but to himself, of course. He looked at the music that was on, and shouted, "I have to learn this piece on my guitar!" determinately. He pulled out his guitar and started the process. He got so focused on his work, he didn't notice a red tiny little bug slowly crawling towards his Runescape character. As he looked back to his screen, the red bug touched his character, and the computer started glowing, almost blinding Tyler. Seconds later, he was zapped. However, there was nothing in his room now. No Tyler. No guitar. No zapped body on the ground. Yes, the most peculiar thing happened to Tyler that day.

He, as well as his guitar, were zapped into the game.
