I have been wanting some more extra curricular to do to help improve my writing and see this as a great option. I also love sal's and would love to feel like i am a part of something good for sal's.

Well, i'm an avid writer, and i have finaled in the wergle flomp humor poetry competition as well as a few small ones. Oh, and i was in the original newspaper staff, i left when i stopped having free time.

It is one of my longest Short stories to date. If necessary i can provide something shorter, or a poem/haiku, anything. I know it is long, so i would suggest just reading bits and pieces if short on time.

There are some fundamental issues which need to be resolved, but hopefully that can be achieved. Some new blood on the newspaper team would definitely help.

I can assure you the paper isn't dead. I'll try to look at this on Tuesday; it's past midnight for me with plenty of homework to go, and Monday promises to be insane too (since I need sleep and all). I'm sure you can wait, though.

I didn't read the whole thing (I hate most zombie stories, although yours is a lot heavier on the lightness than usual, so I enjoyed it almost as much as it depressed me 
), but I got through the bulk of Chapter 3, and wow. You're definitely one of our better writers. Accepted.
It would be great if you could write something besides Stories/Poems from time to time to "earn your keep" (
), since we're pretty much the only section that has all the activity it needs. Don't get me wrong, we can always use more stories, but it'd be nice to see some articles on, say, World Affairs, too, if you feel like writing for that.
