Full Version: Pure Decisions

I've narrowed the type of pure I'm going to make down to 3 choices, and I want your opinions on which I should make. No matter what I make, it will be maxed to the specifications of that type of pure.

1. 60 Atk/Maxed 1 Def Pure

Advantages: Very low combat for a maxed pure, dominates it's bracket, can beat anything it goes up against.
Disadvantages: Extremely fragile, only has access to dscim and dds/dclaws for fighting.

2. Maxed 1 Def Pure

Advantages: Hits max very frequently, access to all weapons, high attack gives them potential against opponents with defense (although they lose more easily to them).
Disadvantages: Extremely fragile, in a bracket with maxed people that also have a fair bit of defense.

3. Maxed Initiate Pure

Advantages: Access to all weapons, much less fragile than 1 def pures, better equipment, stands a good chance against zerker pures in their bracket, ends up at 99 combat (PRO)
Disadvantages: Have to fight more mains/zerkers (although they are capable of beating them)

I know a lot of people will say if I'm going to make an initiate I should make a zerker, I disagree though. Zerker is entirely too much questing for me, I just finally got off my lazy ass and finished the last 25 QP I needed for RFD last month, and I don't intend on doing it again any time soon.
Nub Why Die
I would go Initiate pure since it's more versatile and stronger out of the three.

IMO i would go 75atk maxed and 1 def but u didn't list it so, i would go number 1.

60 Attack maxed pure. Claws are the best weapon around, and are deadly when combined with a karil's bow. you don't need any more - just get mains down to 40 hp-ish, and claw them, 90% chance of a k0.

6 combats for no max hits ;o more expensive gear..

ONLY get 20 defence if you can afford the new pvp armour really.

High combat pure pking isnt great, theres a point in runescape were things start to get worse as pures lose any advantage and have to rely on big weapons and luck.

Basically

50/60 attack pure 1 defence

when you reach at least 2 90's and can afford a godsword or are bored consider 70+ attack otherwise there isnt a point

Why Karil's rather than Rune C-bow?

Lowest combat possible is the go these days. Don't go above 1 defence/60 attack, and use all three combat styles to your advantage.
