Lmfao. Good work. I hated having to web everything but this is just plain funny.

The only flaw I saw was the guy to the right of Grim looked a bit odd. I think it'd look right if he was a little closer to the wall.



1. When you go through the portal, you fall down when coming out of it.
2. I'm guessing you took the webs that Eek makes when playing him and edited them a little bit.

Another excellent fake! 10/10, I can't seem to find any flaws at all.
As for the contest...
1. Nice hourglass, I remember it from the 2007 Halloween event.
2. I remember the The Voice of Doom potion from that same event too.
3. Why do you have Human bones in your inventory too? (these were also from the 2007 Halloween event)
4. The person webbed down on the right has the same Wilderness/Team Cape as you. You caught both of those people when they would fall out of the portal I'm pretty sure. You got the picture of the person in Rune Armor when he was killed by Muncher.
I'll have to find out how you made the webs, so I'll be back.

As people mentioned before: the items in your inventory are from the halloween event 2 years ago.

I won't bother with the finding the fakes thing. I don't know anything about stuff other than MS paint.

1-3. Correct, you'll be getting the points for the items question . I put them in because I thought they looked good, matched the scene well, and wanted to have something in my inventory (note that I hid my alternate clothes used to get two of the fallen people).
4. Flatypus/Top Hat/The Evil Bunny already got this one, but, yes, the people fell from the portal. Actually, the guy in the armor (it's actually recolored steel) also fell from the portal. That shot's just as he was about to stand up. I know the guy in the cape has the same one as me, hence the blue map dot. I actually saw a blue dot shortly before I started faking this, so you can't take points off for having the same cape!

I can't spot any flaws, but again, I'm new to these forums. Super original idea, and great use of animations and graphics in game.

I'm guessing that you made white webs, changed the layer to overlay, and duplicated it a couple times.

Actually, no, they were a very light yellow with transparency. And, if you look closely, you see they aren't exact replicas of each other either. They are based off of each other (the ones on the people, that is), of course, but I've modified each to fit on each person better. So, you won't be getting points
I'm really just looking for someone to figure out what tool(s) I used to make it

Just spotted a flaw. Two people in the upper right aren't on the minimap.

And what's wrong with the contest? It's in a spoiler, if you don't want to participate, you don't have too. But several people seem to like it, so I include it. Also, how is my post long? If you don't count the contest (which you already said you hate and don't want to do, and is in a spoiler, and is copied verbatim from my last fake), and you don't count the poll, then there isn't really anything but a picture, a short sentence, and one small note (with an accompanying picture). Also, I won't have a poll for every fake I make, I just wanted some info/suggestions. I'll only ask questions like "What would you rather see more from me" and "Should I start making RS videos" every several topics. The first question is just because my last fake was so massive, and this one is so small. And this is the second time I'm having the contest, so I'm just curious. The last question only matters if you've participated in the contest, and, seeing as it's gone nowhere, I'll be removing it. Actually, I may remove the poll altogether as it seems that people have already trolled up the results (3 votes in favor of me spamming crap? ). Anyways, I guess I'll revise the contest section so it doesn't look like that much.

And no, I didn't do something that simple. Copy and Paste aren't tools, they're functions. What I mean is stuff like "Marquee", "Brush", "Pen", "Pencil", etc.. Keep in mind I made this in Macromedia Fireworks, but the tool I used exists in GIMP and Photoshop as well

Of course, I didn't delete everything that used to be there. For those that have the patience, most of that info's now available at my website's page on the contest. But all you have to read is that short bit inside the spoiler, and you won't be missing out on anything besides a few technicalities and specifics (such as my decision for handling lost bonus points, now in the "rules" section, which you also, ironically, don't really need to read in order to play). Really, the main thing that made the original description seem so long was the large list of prizes you can get with your points. I can't shorten that, however, because it has important info for people who choose a prize. So I took it out and put it on my site. You don't need to read each individual prize description, because, if you aren't interested in a prize, you won't want to get it anyways. Anyways, only the important info will stick in the topic from now on: a brief summary for people who haven't played before, a list of questions to answer and things to find, the scoresheet, and the milestones.
So, Ambo and Easl, any chance you guys may consider giving my contest a second chance?

I see no flaws, as usual, it looks rather nice, as usual, it was a wonderful idea (going overboard with webs just has that feel to it, you know?), and you're Wolfiemario. Congrats, award yourself my leet diamond for the fourth or fifth time, I lost count.

One fatal (okay, not so fatal) flaw I notice, the minimap doesn't match up to the game screen.

2. The webs are looking a lot like they were made with the calligraphy (ink) tool. That's the only tool on gimp (besides pencil) that looks like it could have made them.

You're very close, actually. I'll give a hint as to what the correct tool is: Look closely at the cursor you see while using the Ink tool, what real-life writing tool does the icon at the bottom right look like? There is one tool in the toolbox which has something similar to that as its icon (note that its name is different in GIMP, but most other programs name it after the real-life writing tool I mentioned)

First I penned the basic outer shape of a web, then I penned the shapes for holes, selected the paths, and joined them (Ctrl+J in Fireworks 8). Then I made it an off-yellow-whitish color, added a very faint inner shadow filter for shading, and made it partially transparent. To make multiple webs, I ended up making two basic web styles (the one on players, and the one on the Reaper, door, and wall). I made each web look unique by distorting, resizing, and rotating them, and moving their points around to fine-tune the appearance.
