currently i am on my 1 month no runescape break it's so that i don't get tired of it and stop playing for 2 years

I used to, back when I was in grade school...but that was cause my parents wouldn't let me on the interwebz. Now I don't take breaks anymore.

If at anytime Runescape doesn't entertain I stop playing until it does again.

I only play Runescape for a month or two at a time. Not sure why, just go off it for a while..

I've been on one for a few good months. I don't normally go "K, I'm gonna stop playing RS for a month starting... now" but just stop when I get bored of the game.

I don't take breaks...I eat, sleep and live at my computer playing runescape.
I only leave my computer to go to the bathroom.

I took a three year break from after the Christmas event in '06 until a few weeks ago.

I've never spent more than a month away from RuneScape, even if I was only playing an hour a week on freeplayers. And I've been playing since about 2004.

I have taken a few small breaks; mostly friends showing me some other game, I play it solely for a little bit, then get back onto Runescape once I beat it/get bored/get stuck after a week or two.

I take a couple of weeks breaks every few months, whenever I have exams or an important protfolio to do for school.

I do. Whether they're 2 days or 2 years. They always benefit me, and that's part of the reason that I've basically given up RuneScape.

I don't take many breaks, but I play less than an hour a week on average from September until late June. This is partly due to school, but if I played RuneScape avidly all year long I'd get burnt out on it pretty quickly.

I usually take a shortish break from RuneScape each time I level up in Hunter. It lasts anywhere from two days to one or two weeks.
In those breaks I'm either working on something else (such as a project from school), or I'm playing Spore.

I've been taking longer breaks recently. The game lost my interest after the updates became a bit more dull.

Occasionally I take breaks usually when I have become bored of the game. The length varies.

My longest break was probably about 2 1/2 years - haha

I started in 2005 and barely got into the game, but came back.

Before I came back and recently having done my month long spell of trading fires I went on a sabbatical, I often do it with all games to take a breather...but I am generally still in the background mooching around though

I never plan on taking breaks from Runescape, but I just get so bored that I never feel like logging in.

I take breaks whenever I get bored of working on my goals or I don't feel like working on my goals.

I've had plenty of breaks. I can't really count how many I had already. They range from a few weeks to two years. O_o

Technically, the times I play RuneScape ARE my breaks.

My breaks are usually fairly long. 2 months usually every time.

Just got off one a couple weeks ago.

I used to take regular breaks that would last around a week or two. I've played hardly at all this year compared to last year though, I only really log on during weekends and school holidays. After school/sport/other commitments, Runescape really wasn't something I wanted to spend the rest of my time on. Although, I have two weeks of school left so that's a lot more free time, so I may get back into Runescape for a short period.

I take occasional one to few week breaks due to work or holiday trips. Longest break this year lasted 4 weeks.

Breaks? No. Hiatuses? Yes. I usually only play during the fall & winter months, when the weather sucks (I hate snow/ice).

Just returned from a 3 week break so yeah.

I'm only level 48, and I figure I'll get behind in the game if I stop.

I go on occasional breaks, but I don't plan them.

Yes, I take breaks but probably opposite to what everyone else does - play during school and not at all during the summer.

Yep. I used to all the time. Now I think I'm officially on my last break. It feels good knowing that you're not addicted anymore. Maybe when summer rolls around, I'll get back on for a bit, but right now, life's much better without ROONSCAPE. In fact, with all the work I'm getting this year, had I not quit, IDK how I'd ever have put rs into my schedule.

I've been playing on and off for years now, after coming back this time round it was 404 days since my last log in. Lot of updates .

Every so often I'll get bored, so I'll just go inactive for like a week or so until I finally get interested again.

Ya recently I've been taking more and more breaks. Trying to level up runecrafting to 50 is such a pain!

i actually take alot of breaks, i'll play alot for like a month or so and then get bored and not want to log in for 2-3 weeks, and play again. Sometimes if I'm real busy i'll go 1-2 months without playing.

I'm on one now.

I don't go on intentional breaks, really. It's actually the other way around, I log onto RuneScape when I have nothing more fun or more important to do. RuneScape's pretty fun, so that's usually pretty often, but sometimes I get caught up in work on my website, or I feel like programming my own game, or maybe I'll find some other game to play for a while that's more fun for the first few weeks.

Right now I'm playing Runes of Magic because I can play it side by side with my little bro (who doesn't have the cash for a RuneScape membership), which is pretty fun at the moment. I'll be back when the game gets boring, and all the completely combat based games do.

Sometimes I go play other games, like WoW, Halo3, Battlefield, Tom Clancy's HAWX, Red Alert 3, but every game gets boring the more you play it

I take breaks when the time I play Runescape is eating up the time I should be spending on more important things (job, school, family, friends, church, physical exercises, ect.) and it's getting in the way. Believe me, it happens.

I take a break when I stand there and think, why the hell am I doing this?

I'm always going on breaks as i get so bored of playing.

If I didn't have breaks I would go mad.

I don't really go on breaks, I just don't play it as much for a while. For instance, right now I'm more focused on RSC
