when i ask "Do people stillu se their mains for pvp" i mean people who don't have 99 in all thier CB stats but rather their stats are spread out and don't really concentrate on just 1 or 2 which is why they have high CB

Yeah people PK with mains. Higher level mains are untouchable by pures usually anyway, so its two different types of PvP, at higher levels.

I PKed with my 114 main for a while. Nothing serious, and I probably spent more on replacement items than I made, but I got a 500k drop (artifacts and dragon square) once, and that was pretty sweet. I'm currently making a mage pure (41 Magic ATM F2P), so maybe that'll turn out OK.

My main has decent stats for PKing, so I do PK on it.

I don't PK with my main, mostly because my defense is way too high. I train all my stats evenly because I try to get my overall level as high as possible , but on the downside of being able to be PKed by almost anyone. I am working on a melee pure for PKing, but I don't think I will ever train my main to.

I've never PKed with a pure and I most likely never will. I PK only with my main account. (90+ all melee stats, 90+ Magic, 88 ranged, 80 Prayer)

I have a pure for PKing, but I still use my main from time to time if I get bored with the pure. The stats aren't great but I usually do deathmatches with friends so my fights are generally evenly matched.

When I was active, I found absolutely no reason to waste time on an alt. This includes pures.

So yes

Main PKing is way more fun then using an underpowered Pure which has no Defence at all.
A Pure fighting a main is a big mistake as maxed Defence will ALWAYS win against no Defence. (In case of a fair battle; No farcasting etc.)

Back when I played I only ever PKd on my main. With a bit of wits and some strategy you can do fairly well with balanced stats. Granted had all 90+ melees so I was in a spot where I never really had to deal with pures and mostly just had even 1 on 1s.
I did level a pure, but I never really did much with it. A bit of low level pking which was amusing for a while but mostly just something to level when I was bored.

I make backups, and do all the holiday events and stuff with them just in case something unfortunate happens and my main gets hacked :'(

I pk in my main sometimes, but I always lose a lot more than I gain. I started a pure but I haven't really been interested enough to train it up.

Yes I use my main to Pk, but he's a Rune Pure so....I also trained a strength pure to just for fun and he does fairly well to.

I Pk on my main, well I used to. I tried it with maxed melee. It's pretty much a luck game at that point.
