I know it's to early to speculate but i just want to hear people opinions about this. I don't know about you but from almost all the top free mmorpg and pay to play mmorpg list that i have seen they don't seem to count runescape as an actual MMORPG, now i am not saying that it isn't but that seems to be the view of most hardcore mmorpg gamers. But do you think Jagex might actaully try to go all out and face the big dogs with stellar dawn? Personally, I am kind of hoping Jagex's stellar dawn dethrones WoW or at least manges to rank up with most games like age of connan, entropia and Aion.

Apparently, it's going to be completely different, so if it really is amazing, it will start a new game trend.
And if this new style is so amazing, it could dethrone WoW. But it's going to be hard and it's going to take time.

Remember Stellar Dawn is a Sci-Fi game and WOW is a Fantasy game. So it depends on how many people prefer the Sci-fi and no-grinding genre I guess.

I personally don't believe it will stand a chance against MMO's such as WoW: Cataclysm, Star Wars: The old republic and Diablo 3, just to name a few of the upcoming games in 2010/11.

RuneScape will never be able to compete with WoW, neither will Stellar Dawn.

They're not made to compete against WoW, it's a game of its own.
