So I'll probably jailbreak my iPhone sometime soon... Does anyone know where I can find the best program and a great tutorial for it? I don't want to do anything that would harm my phone so I want to know how to do it EXACTLY.

Since you have a new 3GS, I think it comes with 3.1.whatever. Yea use blackra1n.

Should really only take a few minutes. If anything goes wrong just restore your iPhone to factory settings and it'll be like new. smile.gif

tbh I think it's funky that we're allowed to talk about jailbreaking but not ripping DVDs. pfft.gif

Do I need to take my SIM card out before I do this?

That's probably because whilst jailbreaking voids your warranty, it's not actually illegal, whereas copyright laws in some countries mean that ripping DVDs is illegal in those places.

I don't think it makes a difference. I took mine out though.

Jailbreaking is illegal, but you can still rip your own DVDs (ones without copyright) legally. Funny.

Tried doing it and had to restore my phone. Gf.

Sorry, I'd always been told that it was legal and assumed it was so.

Apple says jailbreaking is illegal, but who gives a fudge?

I'm using that guide right now to re-jailbreak mine for the newest version. I'll let you know how it goes.

Easiest jailbreak ever.
