Could someone list to me a bunch of the better runescape stories, preferably before runite rediscovery but after the Godwars?
There really should be a sticky with all the good stories listed as well as short descriptions.

Runite rediscovery? You mean runes?
Anyway, do you mean stories by us here at Sal's, or from-the-game type stories?

Here at Sals. And I mean Runite. You know the period where the manufacture of runes was forgotten?

So you were referring to the timespan before runes were rediscovered (167 of the Fifth Age, I believe).

Normally, runite refers to ether the metal or else is otherwise not used.
Anyway, a good half of the stories found here take place before the rediscovery of Runes. Just look around, I'm sure you can find some.

31 pages of stories, its too great a task fo one such as I to skim them all looking for good ones not about the godwars or modern Runescape.

See that guy who posted above you? He's one of the best runescape writers. Look at his topics.

There are so many!

Finway's stories, however, are a good place to start...I believe that Emanick also has some good stories stashed somewhere.

What's the general length of the stories you're looking for? A short story of one-two pages, or a lengthier novelesque story of thirty plus pages?

Short story like 7-20 pages.

Please consider that a short story here is more like 1-4 pages, while a novel is more like 30-50 pages.

Haha... I'm not sure. There are a lot out there. Check out:
Buland, Finway, Riddick, and that's all I remember...
So, there's many. I was reading through your Role-play thingy and really like it. Don't know why it's on this post but oh well. Anyway there are lots. A LOT.
