As some of you may already know, the rock band Oasis has broken up and has stated to be "no longer". Are they really over?

Out of money? your joking right? Oasis are big. They will be safe for years and years to come just of CD sales alone.

Anyway I don't really care for Oasis no doubt they will release solo stuff or just get back together in a few years, Noel left before so whatever.

OHNOEZ!!!!!!

I still don't give a damn about this band. And I still really don't know who they are or why they're soooooo cool.

They only went on tour because the other band members probably wanted too but due to Sting's biggot ways he probably didn't agree until he saw a big briefcase.

The facts separating these two bands are they both broke up due to different reasons.

Anyway like everyone as posted in this topic, who cares? it's Oasis.
Goggie
I doubt we've seen the last of them, it wouldn't be the first time.

What is the point of this topic? Oasis split up in August. This is old news so this topic is obsolete.

To answer the question, for the time being they're over, but they will probably reunite at some point. A lot of bands tend to do that at the moment.
Poetic Minds
I thought they were over in the 90's, the fact that they were together up until now is a suprise to me, the beetles lookalike wannabes i always thought of them as, and what sort of name is Oasis anyway? what is that a self proclaimed title, a suggestion that they are the "cool, refreshingly quenching drink of water in this desert drought of a music industry"? stupid band.
