Full Version: I Can't Find My Thread!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with InvisionPower Board, if you ever can't find a thread that you created and cannot find, it may have been moved by a mod/admin to an appropriate forum. Don't panic and search around for it. First, you have to observe whether that topic was even in the right forum or not; if you now realize that you put it in the wrong forum, then do the following:

The solution is simple. Just go to the top of the page. Under the forum banner, under the link to 'Sal's Realm of Runescape', you will see "Logged in as:" and your name. Click on your forum name and go to Profile Options on the right side of the page and go to "Find Member's Topics". There will be a list of all the threads you made. If one you are looking for has disappeared, then it is likely it was canned due to a violation of rules in the thread.

You can also use your profile to find posts you made, just on top of the link to the threads you made.

IF you think that one of your threads may have been canned and you are burning to know what happened, feel free to contact a mod/admin. No guarantees that we will find it, even our archives are cleaned out once in a awhile in one description or another.

In addition, if you have less than 15 posts and your topic contains links or images, it is automatically sent to the mod queue and a member of the staff must manually approve the topic before it becomes visible. So fear not, your topic has not disappeared completely, and just needs to be checked for harmful material.

I've just realised that i've also lost one.

Mine was about post counts. I doubt i did anything offensive in it. Where is it and why can't i find it?

If its possible, you should add an auto-PM thing where when your topic is deleted you automatically get a PM saying it was deleted along with who deleted it. You can then contact that person if you want to know why.

Jw, when stuff is deleted, is it deleted, or does it go to a trash forum? I know some forums have a specific forum where all deleted posts go (like when you click 'delete' it doesnt remove it completely, its moved to a new forum)

Yes most of our hidden threads go to a trash forum for archiving.

Sorry if I shouldnt post this, but yesterday I found a topic which didnt exist. It was weird, it said there should be a topic, but in it was nothing. I tried posting and it said I was the first post (very sorry if I shouldnt have, I was just curious). Was the post hidden, but not the topic, so I saw a topic but no post (like no words and no name or anything). Sry if I shouldnt have posted...
