So I have a few uncut sapphires and rubies in my bank, and I wanna know what the best thing to do with them is. Right now I am increasing my crafting skill (currently level 20) so I can cut them.  I think I should either sell the gems cut or maybe craft them into jewelry and sell them. The only thing is, my mining level is 31 so I cant get gold yet. Is it worth waiting and increasing my mining skill so I can sell the gems as jewelry or should I just sell the cut gems?

for best exp, its better to cut the gems until u can make amulets with that gem. just powermine iron til u can mine gold

Get your magic lvl up and your crafting up, So u can make some nice enchancted jewerely

You may not still remember this but there's a thing called the assist system . Unless you have 1k gems might as well just request assistance from someone.

Uncut gems sell for more then cut gems, so the best thing is to sell your uncuts for money.

I must agree that I think making some nice enchanted jewelry would probably be best

and remember if you don't have the level to enchant never forget the handy assist system!

actually uncut gems sell for more because ppl buy them to cut them for crafting exp.

so yeah if you're intrested in the exp then i suggest you cut the gems yourself (if you can) & u could always make them into jewlery, ie: rings and necklaces for more exp, but if u kinda dont want to do all thatt lvling just to cut a few gems and would rather have cash then sell em.

I just make a ton of unstrung amulets then high alch them

Cut them, either train your crafting or Request Assist.

Then sell em if you don't want em to sit around... or save them up. I have piles of gems for no reason
