I know that there are many ways to level up magic but which way is the Fastest? I do not like alching for hours every day to get a decent magic level in order to save some money. I value saving time over saving money unless the cost is far too great compared to the next best thing.

I want to go from Lv77 to Lv92-95 in order to use some of the best Lunar Magic skills such as Healing and Vengeance.

I tried searching magic but I did not get any results on the first few pages.

One of the fastest ways to level magic is to get 80 by alching or whatever, then using the Lunar Spell "String Amulet."

Buy amulets off of the Grand Exchange, buy a Mud Staff, and buy however many astrals (2 astrals for every unstrung amulet you have).

I have heard about 120k/hour of Magic Experience using this method.

This costs about 4.5 gp per xp, so it can be cheaper than High Alching.  The spell gives 83 exp per cast to magic and 4 to crafting.

Do you know if you can "String X Amount" or something with that spell?

Click once and it strings the inventory, one at a time.

Ice burst at monkey madness skeletons (same as chin spot).

Cost approx 1M per 1k spells and gives 100k(ish) xp per 1k spells.

Very expensive, but fastest.

If you have high concentration levels, stun-alching gives 100k an hour too.

That sounds great. :)

I just tried the molten glass spell, it does the inventory instantly but it only counts for one cast. :aware:

The Amulet spell is similar to the Plank Make spell which does each one, one at a time. :aware:

I ice bursted from 92-95 in about a week.  Its definetly the most expensive, and as far as im concerned, the fastest.  its also less boring than sitting in a bank stringing amulets.  I think 92-95 cost me 20m or so.

What's so funny about a Mod asking a question? They're not robots who know every little detail about Runescape :aware:

the best thing to do is buy gold bars because they are cheaper, then go to al kharid/phasmatys furnace. have your inventory as 26 gold bars, astrals and amulet mould.

That would only slow things down. :aware:

Any other great ways to level up magic without thinking about the costs?

Ape atoll skeleton monkeys (chin spot) as mentiond above is by far the fastest easiest way of leveling.

1k ice bursts costs ~1m but can get u 120k+ xp in 45 minuets ( auto cast ), once u hit 94 switch to ice barrage- costs about 8000 waters, 4800 deaths and 2400 bloods an hour but its *edit* actually 168k an hour or more(what i was getting)

97-99 took me 2 nights doing mainly barrage but a couple k ice bursts. all in all the toll was about 35m, thankfully half of it was a gift from a friend.  If your looking for speed with out worry about a price, that  is DEFINITELY your way to go.  And its a bonus that u can auto-cast, less effort :aware:

Man fudge high alch not a fan, something that works great I found is killing intested axes. They are aprox. 856xp per kil toward magic xp and respawn a few seconds after being killed and are weak to earth spells plus youcan take a break and kill fugal mages for around 1ml an hour and a half or so while still getting fairly fast mage xp
