This isn't free software. This is free software.

"Free software, software libre or libre software is software that can be used, studied, and modified without restriction, and which can be copied and redistributed in modified or unmodified form either without restriction, or with minimal restrictions only to ensure that further recipients can also do these things and that manufacturers of consumer-facing hardware allow user modifications to their hardware. Free software is generally available without charge, but can have a fee."

You might just want to add Aptana/Aptana Studio under the Web Development section. I use it all the time whenever I'm coding something up, it's awesome.

A favorite of mine (and very underrated but excellent program) for programming is Programmer's Notepad.
Information and Download

It's great because it's really customizable, IMO better than Notepad++, has great syntax highlighting themes, and offers its own portable version.

Looks horrible compared to Gedit though, and if you want something more advanced than that i don't see why you wouldn't just learn Vim?

Here's a new one for audio editing:

Audacity
Audacity® is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.

And for playback:

FooBar2k (Foobar2000)
FooBar2000 is an advanced freeware audio player for the Windows platform. Some of the basic features include full unicode support, ReplayGain support and native support for several popular audio formats. (Did I mention it can be highly customized?)
