how do you use them?

from RS manual:

To charge headgear, simply use the scrolls you want to store on it. The headgear will glow blue to show that it is charged. You can remove the scrolls at any time by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Uncharge'. To check how many charges are remaining, right-click the headgear and select 'Commune'.

so i went and enchanted my helm of neitiznot, but every time i use my summoning scrolls on the helm of neitiznot(e) i get:

this item cannot be use to charge headgear with scrolls

i thought maybe combat helms only work on combat scrolls.

so i went to ge and got a feather headdress but i still get the same message, from the 1st quote above it sounds like the feather headdress doesnt need to be enchanted by pikkupstix or am i wrong?

what am i missing plz?

What scrolls did you used on the helm? And the feather headdress doesn't need to be enchanted.

i tryed the one for spirit terrorbird and the one for abyssal lurker.

Only combat-related scrolls can be used (and they only activate once you get attacked).
