Hey guys. Yesterday I got 55 magic on F2P, and I was wondering, what should I high alch? Which f2p item gives the most profit? Thanks!

there isn't one item in the whole game that gives profit when you buy it and then alch it

profit from alching can be had for example when you make yew longbows and get either the natures, the yew logs or the bowstrings yourself
BUT even then you would make more money when you would just sell the yew longbows and the nats

alching doesn't make money

Sure it does! If you make the nats yourself and get all the supplies it can add up

But as we're talking about Free To Play, alch your drops, or other various stuff.

Sure it does! If you make the nats yourself and get all the supplies it can add up

selling the supplies and the nats will make you more money then alching them
so that is why i say it doesn't make money

it is a great way to train mage tho
i alched most of my yew longbows i made for 99 fletch and sold only enough of em to break even and it got me 86 mage

steel platebodies, addy platebodies i heard are good too

or alch yew longbows, thats what i did when i was member, but i also got crafting and flecthign exp from making them in the first place

Use either Steel Platebodies or Green D'hide Bodies (My personal Favorite when i was f2p)

In F2P, after the introduction of the Grand Exchange, and the trade limit, and the removal of the Wilderness, no item has any set profit in a F2P world. Steel Platebody prices have risen drastically. After PKers stopped buying Steel Platebodies, there have been a lot more unwise customers and merchants who have ruined the prices of Steel Platebodies. The prices skyrocketed when the greedy lower levels who don't know a thing about economy sold the platebodies to greedy higher levels at highest price.

After that happened, there have been no profitable items to alch in F2P.

However, Green D'Hide Bodies are good when Alching, because you don't lose as much money as you do with Steel Platebodies. I do not suggest alching Steel Platebodies, because the prices have risen so high, you actually lose a lot of money when you alch them. Adamant Platebodies are impossible to alch now, because the introduction of PvP made the Adamant Platebody extremely popular, causing the demand to go over quantity, and PKers are trying their best to get ahold of them.

In conclusion, I'm saying that D'hide Bodies are the best, and there is no possible way to make a profit while alching in F2P without getting the items yourself. I hope you understand now.

Does for me, the items I buy give me around 40gp profit an item

Usually combibng smithing and high alchemy work pretty well. I think if you buy the ores, smelt them, smith them into the platebody, then high alchemy that will result with nice experince and money.

1 iron ore and 2 coal ores a bar: 93gp +2*168gp= 429
5 bars a plate: 429*5= 2145 gp
1 nature rune: 243 gp

total cost for alching a steel platebody: 2387 gp
high alching value: 1.200 gp

total loss each alch: 1187gp

It's a loss unless you get ALL the items yourself.

the best thing to do is to not alch
why dont you get runes and kill giants?
after killing some bury or sell the bones
i only alch some bronze drops i get to dont get my inventory full
