Whats a good item to go where shield slot is while ranging with c'bow?

A God book, i prefer the Zamorak God Book. It gives good bonuses for range, i think you have to beat "Horror From the Deep" Quest

see above, i prefer the Guthix book though, because it's green. also if you wanna tank use a granite shield

A god book, obby sheild, or a granite sheild. Each of these offer good def bonus's and arnt all to expensive.

Rune kiteshield, good defence and doesn't take much off.
Dragon square, or any of the basic sheilds.

I personally like the Blessed Spirit Shield.

If tanking: Elysian spirit shield is the best, folowed by dragonfire shield, and then dragon square with obby/granite 4th and rune 5th

If safespotted/praying: Full unholy book, full book of balance, or fally achievment diary shield (only useful for praying).

You simply cannot beat the various spirit sheilds for range/mage, no negetive bonus!

Normal spirit shield, as said no negatives, looks cool, good prayer bonus adn its 60k!

i perosnally love the zammy book. i used to use it all the time when i trained,
buy now i am starting to fall in love with the fally sheild 3. good prayer bonus, and it recharges 100% of my prayer pots.. = prayer pot (3) free.
it has no negative range attack and its has defence bonus of an addy kite.

not forgetting the fact u need 72+ salyer to get it. so its to slow off too
