In all honesty, I would tell you to get your combat stats (Attack, Strength, and Defense) all up to at least 40. Get members before you skill though, because there are a lot of things in members  worlds that can help you get those levels up even quicker.

It seems like you're trying to make a pure from those stats though... If that's the case then get your defense up to 40, and mage at least 50.

There isn't really a "right" time to get members because there is so much you could do at your level and at higher levels. Just wait until you get a feel for the right time. There's never a wrong time to upgrade :eyebrows:

Are you going to be a pure? Can't really help if we don't know what you want to do.

If I was you I would become a range pure. If you get 60 range you are level like 40 you get a d bow and go own in the pvp. But that is just me.

Normal account you want 60 defense, 60 attack, 60 strength, 60 mage, 60 range.

Basically any skills you want to use well like that you want 60+

If you're going to use a minigame to train skills, then get members and do Soul Wars. I jumped from 85-87 Attack today doing it - you shouldn't have any problems.

I think the best time to get members is as soon as you leave tutorial island. As a freeplayer you miss out on all sorts of stuff like charm and herb drops. Also freeplayers don't have access to nearly as many good low level money making methods like members do and as a member there is tons more land to explore. Finally, members have quite a few low level quests that you could do that have interesting storylines such as tale of the muspah, hazeel cult,  plague city, the giant dwarf, and the lost tribe just to name a few.

Don't worry too much about being a low level. Contrary to popular belief, most runescape players are pretty nice unless you go to a pvp area.

well its great if you upgrade now because of everything being easier to train but i waited until i had at least 40 in all of my combat skills and had full rune and i also suggest you get a moneymaking skill like mining, rc, or fishing (i suggest fishing) way up so and get a lot of money because although its easier to make money on members account its also much easier to waste it all like on f2p if you had 1mil you were doing well and it took a while to spend it if you did or you wouldnt spend it well i made 1 mil one day (wont tell anyone how) and spent it all without paying much attention although i know i spent a ton on monkey madness cuz i didnt know what i was doing and then i bought a dragon scimmy then i bought ammy of glory, dragon med helm, berzerker helm, and a bunch of other stuff but i could never spend that much on f2p without really noticing

I'm certain you need a combat level of 40 to get into Pest Control.

Soul Wars is based on what your level is at the time of doing it.

Say all your stats are at ten. If you somehow win a game, you would get 102/600, round down, *525.

So that's 100/600 which is 0.166666667, round that down makes 0, multiplied by 525 is 0.

So Soul Wars isn't the best choice.

Tbh, I would stick with F2P. Clearly knowing little about members and having low stats isn't the best time to become one.

I couldn't agree with elaped more, get members and train your combat up with Slayer.

This is a vital mistake I made, now my Slayer is terrible.

I think you should get attack, strenth, defence and range bettewn 30-50 and magic 37 or if you want to get passed some parts of the members world you should get it in 43-45 because then you can use camlot teleport.

really, you can become a member at lvl 3 with all skills 1. Lots of people do that and they have the advantage of training quickly in members

well, I'd reccomend at 50 in most stats.  I became a member at level 52 cb, with sum stats below 50, and i struggled to fight the better monsters due 2 lacking levels. :eyebrows:
Good woodcutting is also useful for canoe shortcuts and agility.

99*99 = 9801.
9801/600 =16.
16*525 = 8.4K

3 points per game, 3 games per hour. 9 points/hour.

9 * 8.4k = 75k. 75k slayer xp per hour. That's not right :eyebrows:

I agree with Pasta here, there are less low level characters training at popular spots compared to F2p, additionally being members makes the variety of training opportunities much wider.
Basically its just matter deciding when you actually want to start paying for your game play
