My magic level is currently 36 and I want to get that up but I also don't want to lose money. I decided to do alchemy but I can only do low level alchemy, can I gain money from it?

There's probably some items out there that you profit with a bit but low alchemy is a horrible way to train and you definitely have the means for something else since you have 94 cooking.

If I remember right, low alchelmy is amount of gold you'd get from a general shop, so you're not really making the most out of your money when you could just sell on the GE. Or there's the lumbridge ring which gives 30 free low alchs a day, without needing runes + you get exp. I guess that's the best you could hope for.

Anyway, even high alching doesn't make good money (in freeplay as far as I'm concerned), so the chances of getting profit from low alching is very, very slim. Magic training requires loads of money if you want it to go by fast O.o The only sure fire way for you to raise magic without losing money is FOG, but that's terrible as well.

Do not low alch. It's slow exp and it's bad money.

Ovbiously you have abit of money if your going for 99 cooking. if u desperatly want to lvl ur mage and have no probs wasting money trying teleing to varrok continually. its decent xp and u should lvl pre fast

You can barely make profit from high alching. I recommend just messing around fighting monsters with the highest level combat spell you can use.

You make a profit only by using the 30 free alchs from the lumby ring on bronze and iron junk like bronze sq shields...

Which is like 10 gp an alch...

Which is like 300 gp a day...
