Item-Specific Info: The second most powerful lightsource in runescape. You have to bring a light source like this in a dark place (like lumbridge caves). If you are in a dark place without one lit, you will be attacked by little creatures constantly hitting ones.

To light, use a tinderbox with the lantern (after oil has been put inside).

Where to Obtain: Can be smithed at level 49 smithing. After you make the frame, connect it with a lantern lense which can be crafted out of glass at 49 crafting. Go to Rimmington and put oil in it.
