Ardougne is a huge members-only city located in the heart of Kandarin. This guide refers to East Ardougne, the more lively of the two parts of the city. This town is home to the start points of many quests relating to the Plague City storyline. The entire marketplace has guards and stalls for you to quickly train your Thieving skill, or for just getting things cheap. There is an estate agent for you to manage your house, and many NPCs to interact with. There is a lot of history going on in this city and lots to see and do!

There are quite a few ways to get here.
If you have unlocked the use of Spirit Trees after the Tree Gnome Village quest, you may take a Spirit Tree from your location to the Battlefield of Khazard, just southwest of the city limits. You will see Ardougne to your northeast.
You can talk to the Customs Officer located on Brimhaven's eastern dock and buy a ride to Ardougne for just 30gp.
If you have a Skills Necklace, you may teleport to the outside of the Fishing Guild. Walk south to Ardougne.
If you have level 45 Magic, you may use the "Teleport to Camelot" spell and end up just east of Seers' Village. Simply follow the main road west and then south or just walk southwest from the teleport spot.
If you have unlocked the use of Fairy Rings, you can teleport to Fairy Ring code: DJP. This will take you near the Necromancer's tower, and the Tower of Life. Walk north to Ardougne.
If you have completed the Lunar Diplomacy quest, you may use the Ourania Teleport on the Lunar Spellbook. This requires two Astral, one Law, and six Earth runes and will take you to the mountain above the Ourania Cave. It requires level 71 Magic to cast. After you've teleported, Ardougne is to the northeast.
Explained later on, you may use a teleport lever. If you pull the teleport lever in Edgeville, and then again once you are in the Wilderness teleport house, you will always appear in the Ardougne teleport house. If you are traveling directly from the Wilderness and pull the lever, you will automatically end up in Ardougne's teleport house.
(1) The Market Place
This is probably the main attraction. When you use the "Teleport to Ardougne" spell, this is where you will appear. This place is full of stalls to steal from, and guards to pickpocket. You can also train combat on some of the Knights of Ardougne, Heroes, or Paladins that roam around here protecting the poor seller's goods. The fact that there is so much food available makes it a great place to train for lower to mid-leveled players. More on what is sold here can be read in the Shops section of this guide.
(2) The Dock
Here you can purchase a ship ride to Brimhaven. Talk to or right click on Captain Barnaby and he will take you to Brimhaven for 30gp. After the Garden of Tranquility quest, players may use their Ring of Charos (a) to make the trip for free.
(3) Servant's Guild
This is where you can hire a servant for your player-owned house. More can be read about the different kinds of servants and what they do in the Construction guide.
(4) North and South Banks
These work just like any other bank. A place to deposit and withdraw items. The north bank is located north of the Handelmort mansion, and the south bank is located west of the docks.
(5) Poison Arrow Pub
The Poison Arrow is a player-submitted bar. Jagex put this into the game as an empty building and asked players to come up with a name for it, the NPCs, and the items sold. You can read more about what is sold in the Shops section of this guide.
(6) Ardougne Zoo
A wide variety of animals from all over RuneScape can be found here. Larry, an important NPC and penguin keeper, is the start of two quests in the Penguin series. See the Quests section of this guide to find out more about the quests here. Players who have completed the Cold War quest can now receive extra points from some penguins in the Penguin Hide and Seek Distraction and Diversion by talking to Larry. You do not need to have done the quest to spy on them. If you have done the Hunt for Red Raktuber quest, you will find that Larry has been kidnapped. Instead, you will have to talk to Chuck the polar bear to claim your rewards. The penguin attraction actually plays a role in the Cold War quest, as does the monkey exhibit for the Monkey Madness quest.

This is a small shack containing a lever when if pulled, will teleport you to a place mostly surrounded by lava in level 50 Wilderness. Be careful, as revenants can still attack you from the other side of the lava pools.
