Lunar Magics

The Lunar Magics are a powerful set of magic spells that allow for some very interesting and powerful effects. These spells can be accessed by Members after completion of the Lunar Diplomacy Quest, and they give you all sorts of abilities, from baking pies, to healing groups of people or teleporting groups to different locations.


The Basics

Requirements

To access the Lunar Spells, you must have the following requirements:

The Astral Altar

Astral Altar

To switch your spell book to the Lunar Spells, you must pray at the Astral Altar. This is located on the south-eastern coast of Moonclan Island, beside the Oneiromancer. This altar can also be used to craft Astral runes from Pure Essence, but there is no Astral rift in the Abyss.

A map to the altar. Take the boat from Rellekka to Pirates' Cove, and then take that boat to Lunar Isle.

To get to Moonclan Island, if already on Lunar Spells and have level 69 Magic, you can teleport there. Otherwise you must go to Lokar located on the docks of Rellekka, while wearing your Seal of Passage, and he will take you to Pirate Cove where you can ask Captain Bentley to take you to Moonclan Island.


Types of Spells

Lunar Spells are not offensive spells. They are sorted in the following categories:

Cure & Heal Spells

Cure Spells:

Cure Spells

Heals poison, for yourself, another player or a group.

Heal Spells:

Heal Spells

Transfers hitpoints from yourself to heal another player or a group.

Support & Skill-Related

Bake Pie:

Bake Pie

Used to cook any unbaked pies in your inventory.

Cure Plant:

Cure Plant

Cures the target farming patch of disease.

NPC Contact:

NPC Contact

Used to communicate with different NPCs of Runescape.

Superglass Make:

Superglass Make

Makes glass out of a bucket of sand and seaweed without the use of a furnace.

String Amulet

String Amulet

When cast, this spell will string all unstrung amulets in your inventory.

Potion Sharing:

Potion Sharing

Used to share stat restoring potions (prayer, energy restore, stat, super stat) at Level 81, and used to share Boosting potions (super and normal attack, defense, strength, fishing, ranging, agility and magic) at Level 84, for up to 4 players in the surrounding area.

Magic Imbue:

Magic Imbue

When cast, you can combine runes without the use of a talisman.

Fertile Soil:

Fertile Soil

When used on a farming patch, this spell will fertilize the soil with supercompost.

Energy Transfer:

Energy Transfer

Transfers special attack and run energy to another player for a little bit of damage.

Vengeance Other:

Vengeance Other

When cast on another player, they gain the power of Vengeance.

Vengeance:

Vengeance

When cast, you are given the power of Vengeance. Which is similar to the ring of recoil effect but more powerful.

Teleportation

Teleportation

Single Teleportation:

Teleports you to your chosen destination.

Group Teleportation:

When group teleportation is activated, players within 1 square of you and that have Accept-Aid on, will be given the option to teleport to your chosen destination. Players who have not completed Lunar Diplomacy though, will not be able to teleport to Moonclan Island.
