New Poll Added

The brand-new poll is finally ready to be voted on! This time the topic is about your favorite type of weapon in RuneScape, and it could give some interesting results. I also fixed a few small things in some of the guides, and other small things have also changed on the site. The results for the last poll are all set as well, and can be viewed on the Poll Archive page.

New Fishing Guide

After several days of gathering pictures and checking info, the Fishing Guide is complete! Like all other guides, it's got lots of info and helpful pictures to the skill. This time I double-checked everything I could, so the info should be accurate. But if I made a mistake you can send in a submission to help me out. Anyhow, more guides are definitely planned to be released soon, along with other updates to the site, so I'll keep you posted!

Tips & Tricks Update

Well, nothing big for today's update, but I added some combinations to the colors and effects part of the guide. Hopefully I didn't miss any, but if I did, feel free to drop me a note. I've also begun work on a new Fishing guide that isn't quite finished, but will hopefully be ready sometime at the beginning of next week.

Guide Updates

Over the past weekend I've been getting a lot of work done on the RuneScape guides, but I've decided just to update everything all at once rather than do several small ones each day:
Crafting Guide
Anyhow, I've updated the Crafting guide with all the info from today's "Enchanting Rings" update. Info about studded leather can also be found under the Leather section of the guide, and I've also updated the info about enchanting amulets, among other things. I've also fixed some info in the Glassmaking section, and updated the charging orbs section with new info. The info about Obelisks has been revised and made more easy to understand as well.
Firemaking
A new Firemaking guide is up, with easy to follow instructions and info about burning other types of logs, complete with pictures.
I've also replaced many of the old and boring bullets on the guides with graphics of that skill to make it more interesting.

Crafting Guide Fixes

After someone sent me a small fix for the new crafting guide (thanks, Soas!), I decided to check over every level requirement and experience value to make sure it was correct. In other words, I completely revised all of the values for the Jewelry section and fixed a great deal of errors. What had happened was, I used the old crafting info from RuneScape Classic, thinking that the values would be the same. They were not, and I apologize for making an incorrect guide.

Woodcutting Guide

Alright, I just put the finishing touches on the Woodcutting guide and added it to the site. Some of the info was different from RuneScape Classic like experience and other interesting things. I also fixed a mistake in the Crafting Guide in the leather section, Thanks ClownKiller for pointing that out! I added the links to the guides onto the site map page and also made several other small changes.

Well, I was very close to finishing a RuneScape Woodcutting guide, but I didn't have enough time to check all of the info. It should be finished by tomorrow. Anyhow, I wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone today. I know it's a little late, but I was hoping to get that guide up as an Easter surprise thing...

Site Updates

Well, a few things that I've wanted to update for awhile have been updated. Firstly, I got a Tips & Tricks page up with some helpful info about the new version of RuneScape like changing the text effects. It can be accessed by going to the "RS Pages" Link near the top of the side bar. Tons of new and interesting questions have been yet again answered, and lots of tips were added to their respective pages. I also fixed the RSC (RuneScape Classic) Tips & Tricks page up a bit. Herblore has been renamed to Herblaw because that's what it's called in RuneScape Classic and I don't want people to get confused about it. I also fixed 2 links on this page that somehow got flipped when I renamed them.

First RS2 Guide - Crafting!

After almost a week of working on the new crafting guide for RuneScape, the Crafting Guide is finally complete! Most pictures are there, with the exception of the new gems and a cut Dragonstone, and lots of new info is packed into this guide. For now since the bulk of the site is Classical-RuneScape geared, those guides will stay on the side bar, and the new guides as they are released, will be found under the RuneScape Stuff Section at the top. Next will most likely come some tips for playing RuneScape, and then another skill guide after that.

RS2 Guide Progress

Like I said, I would post with info about the new guides for the second version of RuneScape. Anyhow, so far I've begun work on the crafting guide, which is one of the longest, most complex and difficult (but fun!) guides to complete, but the crafting skill has had several important additions to it. Not only am I hoping to get this monster-of-a-guide out of the way, but I'm hoping that by releasing all the new info it will help some people out with the new items too. I'm planning to release this first guide sometime early next week, but no promises! ;·)

Where Are the RS2 Guides?

A slightly new design has just happened with the news tables as you can see, and new logos have been made for the 2 main sections on this page. I also fixed a few mistakes I found in some more of the skill guides while I was going through them. I also wanted to comment on the RS2 guides because several people have been asking about them. I'm in the process of planning them out, gathering info, pictures and all that good stuff. The hard part is going to be verifying all of the required levels and such, but I'm almost sure that the 2 versions of the game are about the same in that area. Anyhow, I'll post on the site as updates happen.

April Fools & Site Updates

Well it's the 1st of April and I've decided to close down the RuneScape site... haha, bet I fooled you! Ah well, maybe not but anyways that's not the whole reason of posting. I made a slight change to all of the pages, so that if the current background should for some reason not load, all of the text will still be readable. I've also fixed several mistakes in both the Cooking and Fishing guides because the info was wrong. Most of the fixes had to do with the level required, which was mostly just a level or 2 off.
