Combat Triangle Guide

A brand-new RuneScape Combat Triangle guide has been added today. This one actually wasn't completely written by me (although I edited it). The main guide was written by Paul (not the Paul from RuneScape), and it has strategies for bending the Combat Triangle in the Wilderness, among other important things that may be useful for creating a new PKing character. I've also fixed a type-o in the Mithril Smithing guide (thanks again, Snipesnipe!), added some pictures to the Tips & Tricks section, and made several other small fixes.

Site Submissions Added

Finally, all of the site submissions have been caught up with, and even more tips and player's questions have found their way onto the submission pages. It's been some time since I last updated them, so it took awhile to post them all! I also fixed some info in the Smithing guide and added some info to the Firemaking Guide.

New Herblore Guide

Well, I just got the new Herblore guide finished with plenty of info, tips and pictures of the skill. This guide even includes the new potions you can make that I had forgotten to add to the old RSC guide before. Hopefully this guide will help out all of those Herblore fanatics just waiting for a new guide to appear! Anyways, I also added some info to the Smithing guide and made a few layout changes to some of the guides.

Skill Guide Fixes

Just a few quick fixes to a few of the skill guides today. I fixed the part about rings being "useless," which I had forgotten to update when the Enchantable Rings update happened. I also fixed a mistake in the cooking guide about Lava Eels healing 14 hits. I know there haven't been many big updates to the site for awhile now, but a new skill guide is on its way and will be here soon.

Questions & Tips Added

Another slow day for updating today. I just finished adding the latest Player Tips and Questions to their pages. Now there's quite a lot of them and pretty soon I'll have to start another page for each section! I also fixed a mistake on one of the screenshots pages, and another type-o in a skill guide.

Screenshots & Other Updates

After taking a short excursion to the Ice Warrior cave to take a break from mining, I decided to take some interesting pictures of things that happened. They can be found on the Around RuneScape page of Screenshots. I also updated the Site Map with the new Screenshot pages, and made a few fixes. I also wanted to say BE CAREFUL when opening mail. Some crazy person's been sending around fake "RuneScape Moderator" mails, and even I've been getting them! I updated the security guide with the new mail subject, and I fixed a messed up link on the submissions page too.

Site Updates

I've just added a tasty picture of an Ugthanki Kebab to the cooking guide and also fixed a type-o. The Salmoneus page is now up-to-date with my stats and picture, and Goal #1 has finally been completed. The screenshots page has also been changed a bit, with separate sections for Beta Screenshots, Current Pictures, and Events, which should help make it easier to find the kind of screenshot you may be looking for. For now, there aren't any pictures for the Current Pictures section, but they're coming!

Minor Fixes

Not too big of an update today. Just a few fixes were made to the site design today, after realizing that it looked rather strange when running a higher resolution than 800x600. Now the site should look much better when running at a higher screen resolution, but it will still look the same to lower ones.

New Smithing Guide

A brand-new Smithing guide has just arrived today, featuring plenty of pictures, step-by-step directions and tons of info for any Smither! It took longer than I had planned, but I wanted everything to be accurate so I checked all of the info to be sure it was correct. But, if I made a mistake feel free to drop me a note. I've also added several words to the Rune Dictionary, and made a few fixes in some of the other pages.

More Submissions & Updates

After more than a week of no updates, I finally decided to update the submissions I've been getting. More questions have been answered today, and several new tips have been added to the submission pages as well. I've also fixed a few mistakes I found in 2 of the skill guides. A new skill guide is also on its way and should be ready this weekend!

Well, everyone has an off day from time to time (and those with a RuneScape character whose name begins with 'Sal' and ends in 'moneus,' it happens a little more often) and I guess yesterday was my day... Anyways, to get back on track, I added in a submission that I missed the answer to yesterday. Also, for some reason I thought yesterday was the 1st and for anyone that noticed, I fixed the date on yesterday's update.
