New Guides

Four guides have been added to the site today. A brand new guide on the various Emotes in RuneScape has been added to the Tip & Guides section of the site. A very big thanks to Ambo100 for writing it! We also have a new Dorgesh-Kaan city guide, with all sorts of helpful information about the city. Many thanks to Doddsy1992 and Evolution for this great guide! The Burthorpe city guide has also been rewritten, and is now totally up to date -- thanks to Pig for this guide! And lastly, the Rellekka city guide has been completely rewritten as well. Thanks to Johnny and Mrcsupertrain for this much-needed rewrite! And of course, thanks to everyone who helped with these guides!

Dream Mentor Quest

A guide for the brand-new Dream Mentor Quest is now online and ready for use! As always, this guide contains lots of details and helpful information, as well as a Fast Quest Walkthrough to get you through the quest as quickly as possible. Many thanks goes to Neo Avatars for writing this excellent guide, and for getting is out so quickly! And thanks to everyone who helped with corrections and comments!

Real World Trading Adverts

In regards to yesterday's announcement about real-world trading adverts, I would first like to apologize for letting those ads appear on the site. We in no way support, and never have supported those sites. As has been shown, we actively moderate our forums and remove any topics regarding the sale of items, characters or anything else related to RuneScape. We don't directly decide which adverts are displayed by Google Adsense, and instead Google has their own method of choosing which ads to show. Obviously, there are a lot of expenses in running this site (particularly hosting costs and upgrades, along with the "extras" purchased for the community), and without the ads there wouldn't be a Sal's Realm.

However, a number of adverts have already been "blacklisted" and will no longer show up on the site. A form has also been set up so that if you ever see an add that breaks any RuneScape rules, you can report the URL so that the site can be blocked from our advertising cycle.
