Classic Woodcutting

For as long as anyone can remember, woodcutting has been an important skill in the game. You can cut down regular trees to build fires for adventurers to cook over, among other things. The new and more rare trees can be cut down to make different types of bows and arrows.

Woodcutting Basics

To cut down trees, you're going to need a hatchetof any kind. Remember that the better the hatchet, the easier it will be to chop a tree down. Now, just click on a tree to try and chop it down. tree

When you chop down a tree, you will get some logs which can be used to light a fire. The better your woodcutting level, the faster you will chop a tree.

Rare Trees

Several different kinds of trees can be found around Camelot Castle and other places around RuneScape. You can check the world map for more places to find them. Their use is different from the conventional use of regular trees, mainly used to light fires. With the rare trees, you can make more kinds of bows and arrows.
