My Stats
These are my current stats in RuneScape.
These stats may be out of date, so please see the RuneScape
Hiscores for my most up-to-date stats.
Note: I'm not really active in RuneScape anymore (since late 2005)
due to real-life commitments and a lack of time to play. I log in every once
in awhile to keep things going, and to check out the new updates, but I don't
really spend much time playing anymore. I hope to start playing again sometime
soon though!

FAQ
Here's a short FAQ about Salmoneus.
Q: What's your favorite item in RuneScape?
A: My favorite item would have to be a Santa Hat--it's soft, warm and Santa-ish
(not to mention it's my first holiday drop item).
Q: Is your real name Salmoneus?
A: No, it isn't.
Q: Do you really have 30 Santa Hats?
A: While it's true that I like Santa Hats, I only have 2.
Q: When did you first start playing RuneScape? How
did you find out about it?
A: I started playing RuneScape in May of 2001 after a friend of mine did project
in school about it. It looked like a cool game, so I tried it out--RuneScape
became 1 of my favorite games shortly after that. :)
Q: How did you make this site?
A: It all started about 1/2 a year after I started playing RuneScape. I saw that
a lot of people needed help in the game, and I wanted to try helping them. First
I started with a Geocities site, but that soon fell apart. Later I moved to Freewebs
with their interactive site builder and eventually learned how to code in HTML
during high school. The site is no longer hosted by Freewebs; it's now on a dedicated
server.
Q: What other programming languages do you know?
A: Aside from (X)HTML, I know JavaScript, some PERL, PHP and I'm currently
learning Java.
Q: Are there any future plans for the site? What other projects are you
working on?
A: Of course, there's always something to work on around here! Basically,
we want to make the site as useful as possible for everyone to use. Currently,
the item database is having items added to it whenever items are submitted, and
we're planning a monster database/bestiary. Calculators with hiscore lookups
are also being worked on, to help make them much more useful to use than the
current ones. There's much more to do, but I can't give away all the secrets!
Q: How often do you play RuneScape?
A: I usually play for about an hour a day, although sometimes I don't play everyday.
In other words, I play when I have time.
Q: What do you usually do in RuneScape?
A: Usually I can be found Mining coal and iron, or smelting steel bars. Sometimes
I can be found at the Castle Wars arena too, depending on what I feel like doing
in RuneScape.
Q: How do you make your money in RuneScape?
A: Usually I make between 1-2k Steel Plates and high alch them. Since I mine
the ores and get the Runes myself, it's all profit. It may not be the most profitable
way to make money, but I still earn quite a bit from it.
