All of these Q&A's are from April 2004. Teh 1337 5ux0r Q: Sal, if that is your real name, I wanted to know something. I've been coming here since you had your second poll going, and Ive seen it change from address to address. It's a really good site, I love it and so do my freinds. But u need some quest guides for everyone to use, thats wat i think and im sticking to it! Oh yea, why havent you added any? Ive been asking you forever!! Oh yea, wat about a world map and a forums? A: Well, I'm happy you like my site so much that it's kept you coming. I've actually been planning on adding quest guides for some time now, but I thought that I'd work on the skill guides first, and then move on to quests. As for a world map, that's in progress right now but it's most likely going to have to wait until I have more time. A forum has also been planned for sometime in the near future, but for now it's been put on hold. Sir Cool Q: do u have to be a member to wear dragon now ? I really need to know! A: Yes, you still need to be a Member to wear Dragon weapons and armor. Entity Q: Hi, Sal? I'm just wondering, I'm learning programming languages and stuff, and I was wondering if I could help you out around the site, because as I've seen, you are the only one running it, and I'm pretty sure, it's time consuming. Well, just post your answer here and I'll keep checking, Thank you for your time, peace. A: Well, I appreciate that you want to help with the site, but I'd prefer to work alone. I enjoy working on the site, although you were right when you said it's time consuming. Moose Q: I have been playing for about 3 weeks now (lev.31) And i was jus wondering, where are all the guilds and the level to get into each? [by the way, kewl site!] A: As it just so happens, if you look in many of the skill guides on the site you can find the answer to your questions. Most guides have info about each guild, including the requires level, the location, and what's inside. Arthao X Q: Don't you just love all the little random things they added. The drunkn dwarves, Djinn, and stuff while mining and the junk from fishing. BTW, Your site rocks, I have been referring people to it since I first found it in February and always have it opened while playing RS just in case I need a quick reference. A: Well, those random things that happen add a little (or a lot) spice to the game. Many times they can be quite annoying, like when my pickaxe breaks, I almost get killed by a monster-tree, or my net gets thrown across the beach. :-0 But hey, it's all in a day's work. Archblader Q: 1.How much does a rune warhammer cost? 2.Can u please make a guide for rangers who wish to use dragonhide? 3.How much is a mask? A: As far as I know, warhammers can't be bought in a store, but you can smith them and monsters drop them. A Ranging Guide will be ready sometime soon. Mask prices fluctuate, and depending on the color each one sells for a different amount. Here's some rough prices: Green - 300k, Red - 400k, Blue - 500k someone40000 Q: ive seen people with cool armour, it is black with yellow around it, what is it called? A: Armor with yellow around it is really gold trimmed armor, and it comes in a variety of each metal. they are a reward from the Treasure Trails thing, and wearable by everyone (with a high enough level).
Thatlldome Q: iv been playing RuneScape for about 1 year just wondering how some people hit 11s and stuff with a addy 2h and I can only hit 7s my attack is 42 defense 33 strength 45. is there a way to do that? A: In order to hit 11's with an Addy 2-H you should train your strength to around 55, give or take a couple levels. Those people may also be using strength potions to make their strength temporarily higher, or they could be using a strength prayer. Mr. Schmoe Q: Sal I got a question, y ain't your site as well known as other ones? I mean, its got everything except 1 of those forum things but they gotta be hard to make 2. If it wasn't for this site i wouldn't have known how to make leather or any of that other crap cuz no other sites got it for rs2. I mean look at the stuff on dis site with all the pics and junk and then look at others and their kinda crappy and all those ads. Y don't u got any ads? So y isn't this site as well known? A: Well, now that I think about it I really have no idea why its not so well known. But, it seems like more and more people are coming to the site each month, which is a good sign (thx guys). Anyhow, as for other sites being 'crappy,' I wouldn't say that because some are pretty good. I don't have ads because I hate them and I would never put ads on this site! Dooka1rei Q: how do u get into the vault in Varrock's west bank is there a key to get in or does it just open when u do a certain thing??? thx. A: Actually, that gate will never open for anyone (except for maybe the bankers that work there). There was a time when people used to use Telekinetic Grab in order to steal the gold from there, including myself! ;-) Simon Q: How do you make your own domain? A: To make your own domain ('salmoneus.net', for example) you can purchase one from a web hosting service. A lot of companies will have a 3rd-party service do it for you. Average domains (.com, .net, .org) usually cost around $6-7 a year. You also need to purchase web hosting itself which costs extra, and some companies offer discounts for buying domains along with a service. Jonno Eric Q: I'm gonna ask 2 questions:

A: Well, because of the various Internet insecurities (plus the fact that I'm too paranoid for my own good), I only mail people if I really, really need to. Anyways, I think you'll find the answer to your question on the Tips and Tricks page. Jonno Eric Q: Sal? Could you tell me how much does uncombat lvls advance your overall lvl? A: Of course I can! Your overall level increases by 1 each time you level a skill. Deb Q: other than the imps sometimes dropping a chef's hat, how can I obtain one or might I buy one somewhere? A: The only other way of getting a Chef's Hat, as far as I know is to trade with another player. The best place to ask for one is in Varrock Center on a very crowded server, since someone most likely has one. I Got a Question Man Q: I attacked someone in the wilderness via bow and arrow and when he attacked me he didn't get a skull what's the deal? A: The reason he didn't get a skull was because you attacked him first with your bow, and the first person to attack is normally the one who gets the skull. But, if he had attacked you first, he would have gotten a skull over his head. Diablo Q: In RS1 1 coal cert was 1k and it was 5 coal ores. Are coal notes 200gp in RS2??? A: Well, depending on the seller/buyer, coal is worth from 100-250gp each, and 1 coal note is worth a piece of coal. |
