Q: Just asking,but how did u make a WEBSITE? Is it easy or do u need a staff?

A: Well, it all started out as a small website that i designed using a free webpage builder, and after awhile I realized that I could do a better job by using HTML. Keeping up the website is a lot of work, but I enjoy it. Some website have a staff (mulitple people working on different things) to make things easier, but I'm the only 1 who runs this site.

A: No, Jagex wouldn't ban you for reading the quest guides on the site. Jagex (the makers of RuneScape) realize that players need help with different parts of the game, and they mention on their website that fansites can have detailed questand skill guides on them. :)

Q: people sometimes sell disk of returning for 1.2mil...what does the disk even do?

A: The Disk of Returning used to be given to you from a Dwarf down in the Dwarven Mines before you climbed down a ladder which lead to the "Black Hole." You would be unable to move or see anything other than blackness, and the only way out would be to 'use' the disk to be teleported out. Malicious RuneScapers would be placed down there by Jagex as punishment, but anyone could journey down there. It was later removed from the game, and now the disk serves no purpous.

A: You can buy Halberds from a shop in the Tyras Camp in the far west part of RuneScape.

A: The skull above a player's head means that they've attacked another player in the Wilderness (made the first hit), and if they happen to die while it's above them, then they will lose all of their equipment. You need to wait 20 minutes for the skull to wear off.

Q: I heard you can build a house on Runescape...Is this for Members only or Free and Members, or not true at all? Thanks Sal.

A: Currently you can't build a house in RuneScape, but it's a future plan by Jagex that a new skill called "Carpentry" will be released... Whether this means that you will be able to build houses or make furniture and such things, it's unknown. I'm also not sure if the skill will be like Runecrafting, giving a part of the skill to Free-Players, and the entire skill to Members or not.

Q: I love this website by the way and I was wondering how you get west of white worf mountain because a rockslide is blocking the way!

A: You need to pass over the mountain to reach the other side, but make sure to bring something to protect yourself from the White Wolves. There is also a Fishing Contest Quest that allows you to go through the Dwarven Shortcut to the northwest of Taverley, making it faster to get to the other side.

Q: I'm thinking of selling all my rune armour and saving to buy trimmed black armour. Before I sell my rune, is it worth it? I don't care about what it looks like. I'll only buy it if it increases my defense...etc. So is trimmed and gilded armour better than normal?

A: If you're looking for higher defense, I'd stay with regular Rune armor. Black Trimmed/Gilded is just the same as regular Black armor, Trimmed Rune is the same as regular Rune. God Armor also has the same stats as regular Rune Armor.

Well I have a Trojan Horse virus I think. A window keeps popping up that says it has decected a trojan horse. However when I run a virus scan I keep cumming up empty. The first time it gave me the file and I deleted it but the message keeps come back. What should I do? Is this somone trying to steel my acount? I'm kinda worried so if you could tell me the best way to either get rid of it or from preventing them from getting my stuff it would be great! Once again thank you so much!!

A: If you're getting a popup but not finding anything with your virus scanner, you may have spyware on your computer. First, visit the Security Guide on the site and download 1 of the anti-spyware programs listed in the "How not to Get Them" section. I recommend Spybot S&D. Get all of the updates and then scan your system, removing anything that it may find (unless you know that it isn't bad). After that, use the free online scan by Trend Micro (also listed in the guide). Hopefully this helps!

A: No, the Clue Scroll will actually disappear, rather than appearing for the person who kills you.

A: Well, that picture was actually taken before Split Bark Armor was introduced into RuneScape. Plus, that character happens to be allergic to sawdust, so I don't think that he would want to wear the new Mage Armor.

A: Well, it depends. 2 Handers are quite slow, but they are more powerful than the other weapons. Scimitars on the other hand can attack nearly twice as fast as 2 Handers, but don't cause as much damage.

Q: i was walking around one day when i came upon a little white rabbit. bieng interested, i right clicked on it to find examine, to discover that it was a runescape player! Is this the result of insulting a powerful wisard? a reward to an odd new quest? a bored jagex emploee? or should i consult a shrink????? lol!

A: There was a glitch allowing players to leave the Castle Wars Arena as an animal, which originally was not intended (I can't really discuss the bug, it's against the Jagex T&C). You're able to become an animal by going through a God's portal with another God's armor on, but people can't walk around as one outside of the Arena now.

Q: Hi Sal Great site, Since I first started playing Runscape I have used your site more than any other. It's been a great source of information. Anyway to my question.
Although I am a member I am still struggling with the amount of bank space I have. Is it possible to create a new character for the sole purpose of using it to store extra bank items for your main character? If I found a nice quiet spot and dropped some items, then signed on with the other character and picked them up. Is this possible to do please?

A: Well, technically it is possible to do, although it isn't 'legal' to do either of the 2 above things. Of course, what you should do and what you're going to do are 2 separate things, and lotso f people do this (disclaimer: I'm in no way either condoning or in agreeance with the 2 actions discussed above). ;-)

A: Yes, you'll still have all of your items and stats after your membership expires. But, if you have more than the Free-Play allotment of items in your bank, you will be unable to deosite anymore. You still have everything, but you'll need to make more room in order to put stuff in there again.

A: You just need to obtain a Flower by either planting Mithril Seeds from the Waterfall Quest or from the Flower Seller in Miscellania. then equip it and you'll be able to fight with it. It has very weak attack stats, and in fact takes away from them: -100 Stab & Slash, -50 Crush.

A: Half Keys are actually just half of a key... the Crystal Key. When you get both halves: the Loop end and the Teeth end, use them together to make a Crystal Key. This is used to open the chest in Taverley containing a Dragonstone and Spinach Roll (possibly other items than a roll).

A: No, Dragon weapons and armor are just known as 'Dragon' items. God armor is actually obtained rarely from Treasure Trails, and it's basically Rune armor with a Divine Trimming on it.
