Lookout Records

I submitted me and my friend's acoustic duet demo to Lookout Records a year ago, and they JUST sent something to me today saying that they were interested in signing a duet, or at least using us for other bands, but they closed down the label in January. They said they would mention us to other labels but it doesn't look good.   Hopefully this isn't my only chance at making it in the music business.

Wow..

I loved Warped tour so much I have to go again. Mostly because my girl wanted to leave early after seeing her favorite band so me and my friend didn't get to see Taking Back Sunday. So I'm going again in a week to the next NJ date. At least I got to meet Taking Back Sunday and get my album signed and get a picture with Adam, but that seriously does not make up for the fact that I brought that ticket to see them, then didn't.

The cures for cancer and other life-threatening diseases like that definitely already exist and the world's governments are keeping it away because of the threat of a population crisis which we're already headed for as well as the fact that elderly people are more financially draining.

Le beach yesterday

Went to seaside with the girl. Saw the Jersey Shore cast and they're beginning filming another season I believe. Danny (the boss) was in the Shore Store so we said hi to him. His role isn't glamorous but he keeps the store running.

She wants to break it off

Accidentally saw my girl's private Tumblr today because she stayed logged in. Turns out she wants to break off our relationship. The worst part is that I feel the same way. I don't want it to end but I do at the same time.   I know you guys don't want to hear about this, but this is literally the only place I'm safe to say things like this. And I need a bro hug.

That mean customer from the other day

He came in today and apologized to me and expressed how he didn't understand exactly why I had long hair. He asked what they do with the hair and I told him how they make wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy. However, he said "That's different, then", meaning that he still has strong feelings about men with long hair and women with short hair.   As long as he knows I'm not one of those "queerosexuals who wants to get a sex change".

No humanity.

To the customer who said guys with long hair are "*Derogatory F-word term for homosexuals* especially after knowing I'm donating it to a child chemotherapy patient and sarcastically asked if my parents are proud of me: they are. Have another drink and drive yourself home. Go get abducted by aliens.   Long hair doesn't make you a girl, just as much as short hair doesn't make you a guy. Awww Greives! Wicked! (AND FREE 5M!!!)

Rebecca Black

My friend's band is sharing a lineup with Rebecca Black in August. I might be their roadie for that date too. I seriously can't wait, you guys know how hard I fangirl for Rebecca especially after we were on the same record label last summer. You have to admit, after all the hate she got, even death threats, it's amazing that she actually stuck with her dream and left that gross Ark label that I was embarrassingly affiliated with.   SO EXCITED!! Donating my hair

My hair's about 4 or 5 inches from the ponytail to the end now. It has to be 10 inches, then I'm getting the layers taken off, thinning it, and giving it to Locks of Love where it will be made into a wig for a child with cancer undergoing chemotherapy.   I mean, my hair's gotten this long already, why should I let it go to waste? I'll enjoy the long hair for a week or two, and let it grow out just as a precaution in case I measured wrong, then cut it.

Shoulder Massage

Anyone know any good shoulder massage techniques?   Also, sad news, my co-worker's wife died today. They were like in their early 30s and married for only a few years. If I was him I'd be devastated. If your spouse dies and you're both like 90 years old, that's not as bad, you got to live your life together. They didn't. That's what's really saddening me.
