I think the break contest was rigged

The Break Contest has a sketchy history, especially since the festival it's for has been losing a lot of money. They couldn't even afford the usual place for it and had to change the name back to what it was 5 years ago and it was under new sponsors. They didn't break even at all last year cause they went all out having it on the beach and it basically shut down 4 surrounding towns, $200,000 just to book the grounds.   Anyway, I think everybody tried to cheat in the poll but the promoters had

The Break Contest Results: WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Hey guys! So there were over 300 bands in this competition and we made it to the top 21 in the final round yesterday. NOW, we didn't make it directly but we didn't lose. We are chosen as a wildcard band. That means we have to be one of the top two bands voted in. The Break Contest Championship Round

So as you all may or may not know, we've been involved in The Break Contest for something called the Skate and Surf (Bamboozle) festival which is pretty big in the northeast. We have entered this in December and have made it past two rounds and just played our third tonight. Earth Day

I Could have been bombed

There was a bomb threat at the concert tonight apparently. Not just that, but all around Philadelphia. Screw that, that's not okay anywhere, including a place where a bunch of kids who feel like they don't fit in with ordinary society come together to watch their favorite bands who saved their lives. Happy that everyone of us made it out alive because it very well could've been serious with this world.

I'm playing at Warped

Not my band, but listen! Hawthorne Heights are accepting pledges and are giving awesome rewards to fans who help fund their new album. The package I selected was to play Ohio is for Lovers onstage with them at Warped, playing JT (lead singer's) parts while he just sings instead of playing. Central Jersey Slammers? Or any!

Stage Diving II

In which I'm stage diving at 1:06. OKAY I KNOW my delivery is a little unorthodox but it was like the second or third time I've ever done it (all on that same night wow) and I'm lucky I didn't slam into somebody on the way down or vice versa because there were many crashings of heads and broken bones/noses. These concerts are not for the faint of heart.

I'm gonna be in a movie

Kinda, in the background. A band called We The Kings are coming out with a documentary which will be in theaters and we were online in the concert and were asked to be in the background during the interviews with all of them. The best part was that this was on my college campus last night where our spring concert involved three of my top 10 favorite bands which was neat.

Stage Diving

Went to see The Story so Far and Man Overboard in Philly tonight.   They took away the barricades so all crowd surfers had to land on the stage, run across it while the band's playing, and jump. This was the first time I did it (and multiples times) and it's less painful than expected so if you ever get the opportunity to do this especially in front of a sold out venue, jump far and do a flip or two.

Runescapaversary

8 years ago today I joined Runescape. Feels like just yesterday I was being bullied in middle school because I was a noob but am now maxed combat with a dozen level 99s and 2318 total level. Sucks for those kids cause they kept coming back to their accounts who aren't great Runescape warriors   I will kill all them in wildy (well I probably could anyway cause it's EoC)

I'm Alive

Seriously considering getting trained to help this organization since I spent a lot of time on Tumblr suicide preventing. This should be posted in the unfortunate event that any of you feel like you're a danger to yourself and would rather instant message a volunteer for help rather than speak on the phone. Many people who call the suicide hotline actually hang up when they make the connection because they are afraid to speak voice to voice.   The important thing with either prevention method

The Break Contest

The results will be posted tomorrow at 6 PM instead of tonight. This decision on which of the ten bands including us who played last night will move on to the grand final round in the Skate and Surf (Bamboozle) break contest is harder than anyone thought. RIP My Chemical Romance

12 years and 10 Million strong. I find it odd how they wrote entire essays on breakfast cereal but their breakup announcement was just:   "Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks
