Your opinion

So last Thursday, I had to work 3rd shift. As soon as the other 3rd shift worker and I clocked in, we were told to go on break. Her name is Kelly. The new girl, Taylor, was just getting off of work. By the time I was "officially" told to clock out on break, Kelly already went outside for a cigarette. I decided to join her, and as soon as I get out of the building, I wave to her (200 feet away lol). As I get closer, as in within 20 feet, Taylor, who I have never met, and mind you this is the first few seconds I have ever seen her before, tells me to tell Kelly that I was waving at her (Taylor). I assumed that those 2 were friends, or at least knew each other. Last night though, I was talking to Kelly, and she told me she thought Taylor and I were friends, and after telling her I never met Taylor until that night, she told me that when I first waved to them, when Kelly nodded towards me (which I honestly didn't see), Taylor snapped at her saying "He's waving at me, not you". Kelly thought that was really rude, but disregarded it because she thought Taylor and I were friends. So this has had us confused..we are waiting to see what happens, but Kelly thinks that Taylor is rude based on that. I personally think Taylor was just trying to joke with us, to try to make friends with us.   The next day, I worked with Taylor, and she seems really cool. I would say the only thing I find "off" about her, is that she is with her boyfriend, who she constantly has complaints about. One example is Thursday night, she was sitting outside waiting for her boyfriend, because she doesn't have a car, and her family is too young or at work. Her boyfriend called and told her he couldn't pick her up because he was at GameStop. (sounds really classy -.- )

Yesterday was my birthday

Now I am 19 So tonight, my family is going out to eat, to celebrate. The hard part is choosing where to eat. I tried deciding by thinking of what I would get at the restaurant, but that only made it harder Texas Roadhouse: I would get either a salad entree, or 1 of their burgers and a side salad. Buffalo Wild Wings: not sure, maybe a chicken wrap. Olive Garden: definately the endless soup and salad, or w/e its called.   Edit: The poll is meant to be where you would choose, of the 3.

Wow. This Is Surprising. But Good.

After I got hacked, I emailed Jagex, explaining how I got hacked. I just checked my email, and while I can not divulge the contents, it did prove that Jagex DOES read our emails regarding accounts. They do care However, they said they will be unable to return my items  :P  :P

Wow. A Month Or 2 Of Searching. And Now They Tell Me =/

So I have ran into annoying videos, that are in MKV format. For the past couple months I have been searching how to convert into other video formats, without success. Most of the programs didn't work. Finally, last night, my friend, who I asked before, and said he didn't know, told me it was obvious. Just use HandBrake. He said he has known that for a long time now, at least a year. Thanks.   Now my problem is, I can't seem to format the mp4 file, which was converted from MKV, to play on my tv. I looked at the manual that came with our tv, and was unable to find it.

Wow what a day.

Couldn't sleep, too much on my mind, personal drama, stress, issues, etc. Got to work. Had to work a 10 hour shift, because co worker called off. had to deal with another co worker being lazy, and going out of there way to leave me hanging. I got yelled at for that. I reported the coworker. Get home. Find out a friend, not really close, but still, committed suicide. hour later, find out my best friend from school was in a serious accident. He is ok, but his spine is damaged. I feel bad because I didn't find out about it until 2 days after the accident.

would you believe

I actually got tomorrow (monday the 22nd), off of work. Might try out RS 3   And as for you guys who said that bad battery life is normal for smartphones. I only had the message app running, and wifi enabled, and in 6 hours, my phone wasn't being used at all, and it dropped 46% battery (was at 68%, now 22%). I'm not sure thats normal. Since making writing this, it has dropped yet another 1%, without it being used. Before the update, My phone was actually the best in the family, now I think it landslided to the worst. So now looking at Droid phones, with the best battery life , and in the mean time, hoping iOS 7 is going to fix this battery problem.

Worst Monday...ever...

So, last night, my antiviruses, Avast!, Malwarebytes!, and SUPERAntiSpyware, didn't find any threats. I haven't been on any new sites, except sals, facebook, and RS. Within the last hour, I was playing Runescape, and my RS screen went white. I reloaded the page, and logged back in. Then a couple seconds later, my computer turned off, for no reason, even though it was plugged into an outlet. I turned my computer back on. When it loaded, i logged back in on RS, to find my inv and equipment empty. I lost Dragon equipment, green h'ween mask, full guthix dhide, dclaws, bgs, and a bunch of others. So. Most of my bank. around 150 mill. Now, I decided to quit for real. No way I'm gonna be able to get that kind of money back, and I need to focus on life. No sense wasting days, when I could just get hacked again. GF all those hours I wasted playing RS.

Work 8-22-11

Well, today I went to work. Thats pretty much my day. However, I was told something interesting. The cash registers at our work won't let us cancel 1 part of an order, once the button has been pushed. Instead, we have to void the order, meaning we cancel the order, and call back that it was cancelled. (I already knew all this). However, the company is going to start yelling at us, or firing us (if it happens to often) that we have voids. It doesn't cost the company anything, so its stupid, because even the managers are making mistakes. Not only that, but today, I had only 4 voids, those being from customers changing their mind, and the managers yelled at me for it today, and when I told them it was from customers changing their mind, which was true, and 1 of the managers was there for 3 of them, that manager told me that I can't keep using that excuse. WTF? I can't help it if a customer changes their mind, I, unlike most of my co-workers, and even managers, follow the rules. Yet I get yelled at. And they want to fire us because a customer changed their mind? why not fire us for living, or for working there in the first place?

Why I haven't been on as much

I haven't been getting on RS or on Sal's as much, as I am trying to focus on college. With me screwing up my first year, I think I really need to focus, and get my GPA back up. I am currently enrolled as a 3rd year, at a 2 year college (though from what I have seen, alot of people have attended this college for more than just 2 years). I can either graduate next year with my 2 year degree, or transfer colleges, and right now, that has been the big question on my mind. The problem is, that the college I would transfer to is almost 3 or 4 times the cost of my current college. But the reason why I wish to transfer, is simply to get away from my home. I feel I would do better in my academics. That being said though, I have been spending my money much too freely, which I am now only spending on gas, drinks (Mainly tea and drinks other than pop), and occassionally food when I need to (I live at home, so food is provided. Sometimes if I go to college early, or stay late, I get food at the college, or intown.)   So onto my college life. Like I said, I have been putting more focus in college, currently getting a 99.2% in my Accounting class, and though I did have a rough start with my Art Appreciation class, I got 100's on the last 2 quizes, as well as on a paper. My problem is with my Final Paper, which is a 7 page paper comparing and contrasting 2 paintings from a Museum we went to. I am not finding any resources, so I feel screwed for that paper. Also I am taking a Business Law class, which I'm not doing so great in, since it is literally just lectures and tests over anything in the chapters. We don't have any homework or papers for that class, and no guidelines for the tests, which are 100-150 questions, which I am not good at.   And finally, I have been having issues with acne more than ever. I have tried a various range of face soaps, and Clean and Clear, as well as having tried dabbing Lemon Juice, or Apple Cider Vinegar on the areas. But, no luck. The acne is still there, and nothing is getting rid of it.I also have changed my eating habits, taking in less oily foods, not to mention sweets, not just for the acne, but to help me lose fat. Though I don't feel I am too heavy for my age (185 lbs and 21 years old), I recognized that I have been eating unhealthy, and need to start eating healthy. I am beginning to worry that my stress is what is causing the acne, which could be why it isn't going away. If that's the case, I'm going to be stuck with it for a while since right now my life is filled with stress, and likely will be until I graduate with my 4 year degree, and even then, I will be stressing finding a job in my field, and settling in.   As for right now I have been stressing out about getting good grades, my job, and family issues, as well as finding out some of my friends aren't actually my friends.   I'm sure some of you expected to see something about a girl. Well, there is a girl I have been becoming close friends with, but she is happy with her boyfriend, and I want her to be happy. Though their relationship has been in rough waters lately, I want it to work out for them. Well, sorry to disappoint, but I am actually avoiding that, and just worrying about college right now.   Well, that's all. Hope you enjoyed reading (lol) but I am going to bed now, because I stayed up late tonight doing homework, and have to wake up in 4 hours for work :P

What to think of this

So I took my laptop to a computer store we have used for years, and the owner personally fixed my computer and said he found viruses on there. What are the odds of this when I have scanned with Mse, malware bytes, etc, in both boot mode and safe mode. Also what are the chances he would go through my laptop, like every folder, when I only wanted him to find out why it was going slow, as well with wiping the hard drive clean..the reason I ask is because I had private folders in there with documents I hid in pictures >.> I deleted everything in my documents before I gave it to him to fix..

What to do.

Tomorrow I have off of work. So I am trying to decide what I want to do. My parents are going to the flea market and after we're going to have a really fancy dinner. I have the option to go. Or I can go to a local fair. Which do you think I should do?

what I've been up to.

RS: just relaxing, talking to some old friends irl: catching up and getting ahead in homework...or trying to anyways     But my mouse has been acting strange lately. While scrolling down, it often scrolls up every now and then, like I will be scrolling down a page, then it jumps back up a bit, before scrolling back down. It's getting annoying, and so far, seems to only happen with my wireless mouse, and now my mousepad, but I hate the mousepad.

What I'm looking at now

Buying wise:   Still looking at Monitors, don't really need help on that. Now looking at HVRs (to watch/record tv on my laptop, preferably able to use either both wireless and through a cord, or just wireless.). If anybody, preferably anybody who lives in the US, has any suggestions, I'm all ear. I am looking at reviews, but getting too many different answers. After that, saving up for college.

What Do You Think I Should Do? (job)

Ok, so my first couple weeks turned out fine at work. But now, not only is my boss being a complete...nice doggy...(to everybody), but the managers decided to use me as a punching bag (not literally). They love to blame stuff on me, and mainly, if not only, me. Today at work, a lady was working 2nd shift, instead of her usualy 3rd shift, for 3 hours instead of full time. Towards the end, we got an order, and the customer changed their mind, so I voided the order, after calling it back as a void. The lady confirmed that she heard it. At the time, my manager, Melissa, was at another section of work, and couldn't have heard us, because she was paying attention to what she was doing. Then I got a second void. I called it back. Later, we found out the lady made 1 of the voids, and I got yelled at for it, and Melissa claimed she was standing right there, watching me, and saw everything, when she really couldn't have known what was going on (given proof to the fact that the 2nd void was made, and she claimed it was the first, and she said I didn't call back the first void, which didn't get made). Then she started giving me the "you have to be careful or you'll lose your job" speech. If that weren't enough, when I call back voids, I am loud enough for people in the back to hear me, literally. But if the workers making the meals forget, or make it anyways, assuming they heard me, sometimes they might not, I get yelled at. If they don't hear it, I get yelled at.. When I am in the back, if I forget, I get yelled at. If I didn't hear it, or they forget to call it back, I still get yelled at.   What do you think? Personally, I am tempted to quit, but this is my last shot at a job in the area, no where else is hiring, its so bad, whenever a job hires, there are practically the sophmores in high school- seniors in college from the area applying...and by in the area, I mean surrounding towns too..even towns 40 minutes away or so.

Welcoming the summer.

Well, I passed all my classes this semester, and I am very proud of my accounting grade. I got 100% in Financial Accounting; not bad considering I had to teach myself the whole time. So, now on to the fun part of summer.   I am currently in a situation. First off, my current job is only giving me 20 hours per week, because business has been slow, and we just hired 7 new workers, 3 of whom were all hired at the same time, and then the 4th person, and now 3 more have been hired. Anyways, point is, I need hours, but not getting them, and I know we will get busier in the summer, and I don't want to leave this job since I have been there for 3 years, and have seniority, but a second job is out of the question. :(   I was planning on getting my 2 year degree at my current college, and then transfer to a 4 year college, but I haven't graduated from the 2 year degree, and due to family issues, I have decided to transfer early, even though I don't have the money. The deciding factor was something I realized when talking to my best friend Kev. I'm going to be in debt, no matter what, so, as much as I hate going more into debt, it's going to be approximately, 5000-10,000 more to transfer now. But the thing is, I really want to go to this college, and I can't stay at home any longer due to the issues, and I have looked around for apartments so I could keep going to the 2 year college, but the rates are too high, and would put me in debt, even with a roommate, and I don't want to go into debt before transferring colleges.   The last 2 semesters at college, I had the same classes as a girl, and at first, I really didn't pay attention to her all that much. But we started talking, and we became really good friends. But of course, she has a boyfriend. Their relationship seems rocky; it's been off and on, and he doesn't even want to make the relationship official (like they both say they are "sort of in a relationship"). I am becoming concerned that I am growing attached to her, but I know it's not going to work out, so I decided switching colleges might help me get over her.

Weird..

Last night, I mentioned about the car driving around the neighborhood, with lights flashing. Today, somebody from GC Services called our house, asking for information on one of our neighbors, who we don't know. He proceeded to asking us to leave a note on their door. I don't know if I should tell them about it, leave it alone, or call the police. It does kind of worry me that the man knew their address, but wouldn't contact them himself, as well as our address, and phone number. One of my friends told me what they did was illegal. What do you guys think?

uh oh.

So aside from all the drama I am going through in life, which i don't feel like talking about, one thing I am worried right now, is that 30 minutes ago, i was leaning over my couch arm to grab my apple tv remote, and i accidentally dropped the remote onto my ipod touch. I think it scratched the screen protector or the screen. I didn't see where at on the ipod that it fell on, but just tonight I noticed there is a straight line, about an inch long, and about a couple hairs thick, that is shining multiple colors (when the screen is on/lit up of course.) I don't want to remove the screen protector, because I can be quite OCD when it comes to technology. I also noticed that the color of the line is also around the border of a dust bubble under my ipod touch screen protector. I don't see a scratch on the screen protector, but now I am worried because I can see the line almost everytime i used the ipod. :(

Trolled somebody

A low level player in Fally asked me how I got Runite Ore. I said, "I mined it." He said, "oh", and equipped a pick, and ran towards the mining guild. 15 minutes later, he came back asking how I managed to mine the Runite Ore. I told him, "I have 85 mining, all I had to do was click on the rocks." He said, "but it is so crowded. What is the chance of getting that Runite Ore from a Runite Ore rock?" I replied, "very high if you're lucky, and find a world with ore in the rocks." So then he asked, "why do you get that Runite Ore from the rocks? It's weird." I said, " You always get Runite Ore from rocks, as long as nobody else gets it, thats always how the game has been." He said, "really? I don't remember them being here before." And then he walked off.

topic thats actually about my life as of now

I have been getting 30 hours+ a week at work. Not bad considering it's a part time job. However, going through my checkbook, I have noticed I have been spending a bit too much, and I need to put myself on a budget, so, I have been practicing control, and only buying my weekly supply of energy drinks, which have been lasting me 2 weeks lately, and gas. And the occasional drinks, usually iced tea so I can get away from pop. It doesn't look like I will have the money to get through next year of college without debts, which was my goal, so I am trying to hurry and decide whether I should get a second job over the summer. So far it looks like I passed my classes this semester with at least a B or B+. I still have my Comp 2 exam left though. 3 years to go. Next year I am taking 6 classes each semester, for personal reasons, and on top of that, working. Not looking forward to that.   There has been a new member on the cleaning crew, who started a couple weeks ago, I think. We have talked some, mainly a few words, but Friday we actually talked (she started the conversation), and she's pretty cool. On Sunday at work, I started talking to her, and she asked me to walk with her (she was still on the clock, and I was on break). I found it easy to talk to her, and already found we have some things in common. I'm not going to jump the gun, but at the moment, I find myself remembering I don't have the money. I didn't realize she works at both buildings, where as I work at only 1 of the 2, so we probably won't have time to talk or work together. And she doesn't have facebook.   The only other thing worth mentioning is that I have been looking for a somewhat healthy drink, besides water, or milk, which isn't expensive. I have been drinking tea lately, along with orange juice/apple juice, but I have heard tea isn't as healthy as everybody thinks. I already know the fruit juices are loaded with sugar.

Tonight

Well, I worked 4-10 tonight, and accidently ended up insulting the lady who writes our schedules..and unintentionally. We brought up schedules, and timing, and how there are times when only 1 person works, and I mentioned how there was a lady working with me last night, who mentioned how Sunday morning, she got out at 6, but her replacement was scheduled for 10...in other words, 4 hours of nobody working in back. Now I have Wednesday and Thursday off, and I found out I am going to be working 6 days a week for a while. This is pretty much it. Edit: however, yesterday was interesting, the guy in charge threw a tray of hamburgers across work, literally because he was so ticked off :P
