Well Then

After a great refreshing in musical theory last night, I believe that my senses are keen enough to continue writing music. Surprisingly, it was pretty tough. I still got to figure out a good way of uploading though. I released the latest chapter of Demon Tide but I'm still expecting a review from some of the other writers of the Story Mat. I think it's one of my stronger chapters, but we'll have to wait and see. In general, it seems like the summer slowdown is hitting that section of the forums

Sunburns, Sun Tan Lotion, And Sprite...

...pretty much describes the latest week of my summer. Being outdoors altogether too often, many times at the local pools, and getting sick are not good things when jambled together in four or five days.   I've been writing up the latest few chapters in Demon Tide, composing some music (which I plan on sharing online as soon as I figure out how to), and doing my summer reading. And that's my life. How's yours?

Why Oh Why...

Why is almost every story in the Library about killing, suicide, or murder? I made up my mind to become a little more active there and review a few more stories than usual, but most of them are just dark and depressing, at least to me. :D

Gimme All Your Lovin'...

Working both full time and part time at two separate locations for two weeks isn't too fun, especially not when all your friends are enjoying their Summer. The fact is, Summer is but a disillusioning mirage for me, one that may have helped me carry on through the school year, but is now quite the opposite. I Had A Deram...

...and it was fulfilled. I went to a local waterpark today, went to a few parks yesterday, and have been overall enjoying summer lately, which is good. "dream"

...is an epic band name, at least in my opinion. It implies a type of mystical, magical journey that is underway during each of this fictional band's songs. This band would make good use of piano and symphonic parts, in addition to 7th based chords to help create amazing, feel-good refrains that will leave the audiences wanting more, yet fulfill them at the same time.

Beautiful Weather

Going to the park is great, but I need to go swimming more. It's a month into summer, and I've only been to the pool once. :) ...I guess I'll be content with going to the park, depending on who I'm with.   Ideas for new stories, including two great plotines for RuneScape God-Wars Era novels, keep hitting me. Dreamer

All of this talk regarding lucid dreaming here at Sal's has got me thinking of a new plotline for a new (semi-confusing) story.   It starts off with a man in such a dream, in which he is doing something really cool, and is aware he is lucid dreaming. Said man eventually wakes up, goes to work, and lives, etc. It is revealed that he is a master at lucid dreaming, with fluent control over them to a point where they seem almost like reality. I Can't Believe It

I sorted through my anthology the other day, and I can't believe I've written so much here on Sal's. For those of you wondering, I posted all of my works in my blog about half a year ago, and I'm thinking about going back and posting an edited version of it up here sometime soon.   After I finish Demon Tide, I'm going to sort through a host of good ideas that I've been forced to put off, perhaps coming out with an even better story. Well Then...

I wanted to post this entry yesterday, and I had it all typed out when my internet crashed. I didn't know, so I clicked "Post New Entry" and then it went to a "Page cannot be displayed." I was quite bummed out. :(   I went to a party Friday night, which was great, considering Kelsey was there, and some "friends" I don't get along with weren't. Awkward Fantasy

You get a really weird feeling when your dreams depict exactly what you want to happen in your life. Its strange because it means that your subconscious is actually doing what it should be doing. Of course, then you have to wake up and realize that it didn't ever happen.   On another note, I wrote my first poem in a long, long time. Judging by the response, I'm no poet.

Inanimate Hatred?

I suddenly have felt an extreme hatred directed towards a number of inanimate things. Psychologically, I'm thinking that my brain is blaming these things for causing the problems in my life, even though they are definitely human-caused. What's this all about?

My summer has suddenly taken a sharp drop in my activity as far as social events are concerned. Ivy League Material?

Alright, Sal's, I have a question: Are Ivy League colleges subjective? What I mean to say is, does it vary from person to person, or are there only a select number of colleges officially deemed Ivy League? I've recieved letters from Stanford, University of Pennsylvania, and Brown, and I want to know if these are "officially" Ivy League colleges, or if the people I talked to have their own definition of what that means. :(

What A Night

Last night me and two friends dressed up and planned on going dancing, but due to the lack of another male we decided to scratch that and hang around downtown instead. Has It Begun?

Santa Hat's dropped 3 million the last price change, the only drop within the last twenty days (and one of the very, very few within the last six months). Is this the crash I was talking about? Possibly. ;)   Personally, I have the feeling that this will cause some buyers to be wary, a slight drop in price, and some instability.
