Okay so as my last blog said I need a heroes or villains costume for Freshers week.
I ordered a Luigi Costume, it came, it didn't fit and it looked crap.
Now I have two weeks left to put one together.
I have two final options.
ZORRO or SLENDERMAN.
I'm tight with money so it's got to be an economy costume.
Zorro - I'd only be wearing a basic black shirt, a cape, a mask, a hat, some formal trousers and some shoes. So it might not look very zorro-y. Oh yeah and I'd get a suitab
So I got into Cardiff University ( ). Cannot begin to describe the mix of nerves and excitement :P.
Anyway on Freshers Week there's a Heroes and Villains fancy dress night and I was wondering if the good people of sals had any cool ideas.
I'm already predicting to see about a million Batmen, Supermen, Spidermen and Captain Jack Sparrows .
So anything not really obvious but still recognisable would be great :P. It's also kind of important that my face isn't covered, it might not be
I've broke my computer, it won't boot up. When I switch it on it goes straight to a black screen with a blinking underscore.
Currently changing all the start-up settings, actually made .. well *something different* happen. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
Picture related.
Luckily I don't actually need this computer, I just want to get some files off it before I get rid of it :(.
Anybody have any suggestions? :/
Well my final exam, maths, was today. and mother of god it was difficult. I've done quite literally EVERY past paper by this edexcel and I did every Solomon Press paper for C3 (which is meant to be 1000000x more difficult than actual exam papers). This exam paper made Solomon press it's nice doggy! and showed it who's boss, hardest paper I've done by a long shot. I'm god awful at differentiation (I get all my rules mixed up). The first question was a differentiation question, an easy one. So I w
Well I applied to the University of Birmingham to study Psychology. They've sent me a letter telling me that they're not going to be making me an offer for that course, but they've given me an opportunity to change my application from psychology to Social Policy which they said 'is more suitable for my interests and experience'.
The course doesn't look bad, and I would find it interesting so I'm going to change the course choice anyway regardless as to whether I'd want to study it or not. I
So I sat PY3 today, was sooo much better than I expected it to be. Felt so amazing after the exam, really pleased :). After discussing with people I failed one question about inter-rater reliability as I had no clue what inter-rater reliability is Oh well. I can think of 4 marks which I've definitely lost and out of 75 (I believe) that's not half bad!
Time to no life maths now :P.
If anybody else sat an exam today how did it go?
I have my first important exam tomorrow. I resat C1 (Maths) last week, which I didn't necessarily need to do, I was 4 UMS marks of an A overall last year for Maths and I got an A in this exam that I resat first time round, to try and get those 4 marks. With any resit you keep your highest marked results so if I got a B in the resit I'd keep the A. So that one was no pressure really.
Tomorrow's is PY3 - Psychology though and I'm britting shicks. The thing is this exams not even difficult, it'
Yayy for forum upgrade!
But Nayyy for me not being able to see what's new due to the fact I have lots and lots of revision to do for Psychology on Thursday. If I'd have sat this exam before christmas I'd have got at least a B but now I've forgotten everything ;_;.
edit: I also published as a draft :')
10 minutes later im trying to work out how to publish a blog.
fuuuuuuu.
Well I spent yesterday in bed violently throwing up every 30 minutes into my bin, going from being freezing cold to boiling hot.
Excellent start. Wish I could say it was due to alcohol.
Bought Skyrim in the half price sale at Game Station for £22.50. Thought it was a pretty damn good deal.
Unfortunately I won't be able to play it till Saturday evening .
So this weekend a woman managed to steal a camera off me with some real hustle shizzle whilst i was on the till.
And I got a £25 parking ticket <_<.
That is all.
oh and my UCAS got sent off and I already regret putting one of the choices down and not another.
I passed :D.
With 1 minor!
<_< which is so much less than Jamie because he is bad driver.
Now I can go see my Niece in hospital whenever I like!1 -between the hours of 4 and 8pm
So I got to go to the hospital for the first time to see my niece. Who was born ~2 months early (see this blog: http://runescape.salmoneus.net/forums/inde...howentry=65759)
She's so adorable :3. She has little tiny fingernails and she grips your fingers really hard. Was truly amazing.
Her name is Anabelle Elizabeth. :P
Here is a picture my sister took:
:P.
I also bought her Christmas present today. It's this:

You'd think maybe after the first three times somebody comes into your office and says, very clearly, that they are unable to work any weekdays and any weekend (I can work weekday evenings) that you'd stop putting them in for those hours on the rota. Especially when said person explained the hours they can't work and why during the interview, you know before you hired them. And when they do come into your office, and say they can't work, you don't make them feel like an unreliable dick who never
Hi. My Nieces name is Annabelle Elizabeth :3. I don't have my phone wire here to upload a pictures.
Also did anybody watch that programme on the BBC about the Elephants and the Matriarch called Echo? I've just spent the last 30 minutes crying watching it ;_;.
Well.
A couple of nights ago my Step-Mum's mother passed away. She was such a lovely lady :D, she was told she had terminal cancer some months ago and she'd been unable to keep a meal down for a few weeks so the news wasn't that much of a surprise. Still, it's very sad news.
Before I had chance to actually take it in and actually get upset about it I was informed by my Dad my sister (step-sister really but <3) was in hospital after going for her routine check-up as she's 7 months pre
LETS BLOG.
Hey, remember that blog complaining about my lack of job? Well I now have two! I'm an employee of both Argos and Iceland, I don't expect anybody who isn't British to have heard of those stores ^_^, but they're pretty big stores here. I've only been working at Argos since this weekend and I've literally just came back from my Induction evening to Iceland; which was composed of watching virtually the same video's I had to watch in Argos about health and safety, violence, think 25 an
Wasn't that whole expect us thing supposed to happen yesterday??
Also; I have lots to blog about, I think, which I'll probably do tomorrow afternoon, so expect that, because I know you all care so much about my life, also I've started to realize I suck at English and grammar and use of punctuation, particularly noticeable by the amount of commas in this single sentence, owell.
Last weekend all the GTA games were on sale on Steam and I got them all for £4.99. I now have an extremely unhealthy obsession with San Andreas Multiplayer :(. It's so awesome, I've been playing on Kevin/Moving Targets server off youtube, and it really is good fun. Anybody else happen to play?
I don't remember if I blogged about it but I did get that job at Argos in the end and I had an interview with Iceland today which went well, the woman sounded quite promising and said I'll find out tom
I have a very, very strong urge to get back into RuneScape.
Been watching RS videos all night, I'm going to resist though for the good of my social life, school work and bank account ;_;.
edit: Also I want more people off sals on skype, (so add me <<<<) -inb4 nobody does <_<.
So I got home from school today, very stressed in regards to a number of things, particularly my IT coursework and UCAS form. I decided I'd get home, walk to Tescos and treat myself to a new pad of paper and some new pens (:( yeah I'm lame I know), then use these to make some flashcards for my Psychology exam. So it was a set plan, I make the trip and they have no paper or pens. :o. I honestly could have stood there and cried, I asked the Tescos man if he had any in the store room and he said "N
