Hello there, long time no see. Like a week or so
I've been pretty busy lately, mostly due to studying (Tributary Law) and RS membership.
Not to mention December 8, which is a national holiday (and no, not because John Lennon died), and the St. Lucy's fair in Trento, which I *had* to visit with Luana. Four hours in the middle of market stalls, and st00f. Fun though, you get to see the weirdest stuff for sale (in real life. I came across a mouthful of WEIRD objects on the internet, including a "sheep shagger" cooking apron. ).
Luana bought some stuff here and there, namely a dress and a pair of jeans, and some more stuff I don't remember. I, on the other hand, bought just a pair of jeans, and a sweater for my sister (she'll find it under the Christmas tree :) ). It's so cute that it's not even funny. It has two kittens, a moon, and stuff (my memory is teh failure IRL). I bought a typical southern Italian pastry called Cannolo, which is available here only during fairs and such :( too, but that doesn't count because it disappeared ASAP, some dried strawberries ( them) and a small teddy-panda (:P) for Luana, just as a surprise.
Enough talk for today. It's almost midnight! 24 hours to St. Lucy's day! :)
AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million (between 2.8 and 3.6 million) lives in 2005 of which, more than half a million (570,000) were children.
December 1st is the World AIDS Awareness day. Take care.
Edit: cool, found a way to bump.
Ok, I was doing stuff on PayByCash to get members again as soon as I get the dough :P By looking at the payment methods, I noticed some WEIRD things.
I'm Italian, right? My currency is the Euro, which is currently exchanged against 1.3231 US Dollars. (! Euro = 1.3231 $)
I don't have a credit card (I suck), so I'll have to pay by cash. By looking at the subscribing options, I see that one month of membership with a credit card costs 4.60 Euro. Mind that. ^_^ (which, translated in US dollars, would be 6.09 $. (Scammers.)
The following pay by cash options are available: (I'll get a 6-months one)
1 Month Subscription [$7.95 US Dollars ]
2 Month Subscription [$13.95 US Dollars ]
3 Month Subscription [$19.95 US Dollars ]
6 Month Subscription [$34.95 US Dollars ]
1 Year Subscription [$65.95 US Dollars ]
Good, absolutely awesome! But I don't use US$, I use Euro! And no Kazakh currency either! :P
So, I just start translating them into my own currency.
1 month, 7.95$ = 6 Euro. Fine, nothing wrong.
2 months, 13.95$, that's 6.975$ per month = 5.26 Euro per month. Whoa.
3 months, 19.95$, that's 6.65$ per month = 5.02 Euro per month. Nifty.
6 months, 34.95$, that's 5.82$ per month = 4.39 Euro per month. WHAT THE HECK?
1 year, 65.95$, that's 5.50$ per month assuming that Jagex uses Earth years, that'll be 4.15 Euro.
Now, as you can see, there's something wrong. Isn't paying by cash supposed to be MORE costly than via credit card?
I decided that I'm way better off sending cash via Western Union - compared with the yearly cost of a credit card, it's the best option - by far. ;)
Happy December to all of you, first of all. ^_^
To properly celebrate the month of consumefest and exams, I've managed to lock horns with two people already. Yay.
Oh, and read This blog post please. It's...enlightening. :P
I just came out of the voting booth of the students' representatives in the Faculty Administration Board *AND* of an Economical Geography exam :o I'm feeling pretty tired, despite the caffeine slowly entering my blood system, or rather caffeine entering my caffeine system :o
YAY for being bombarded with text messages "vote for X" "no, vote for Y" etc. etc. etc. from my friends :o
By the way, I would like to thank .un0 for always putting up with my...errr...playfulness. No, seriously - if I was her I would have put myself on ignore and cursed at myself for the centuries to come. :o Sometimes I'm really caustic when talking to her, and she (almost) always puts up with my attitude. Thanks, un0
Videos from this absolutely ownage group called The Scorpions:

Still Loving You
[recorded in 1984, too]
I :( Scorpions.
I think I should properly introduce myself, just to be original and unlike many other bloggers that...errrr...introduce themselves. :(
My name is Daniele (and yes, it's a male name. ), and I'm 21 years old. Like most of you know, I'm from Levico Terme, a city in northern Italy, and until June 2010 I'll be bragging about Italy's World Cup victory. :( - I'm an Economics student in the University of Trento, with not too bad results so far.
I've joined this forum on the 26th of April, 2005, so that's, like, more than a year and a half. I'm still enjoying it, much like I enjoyed it in my first days - even if the responsibility of being a moderator often leaves little time to actually enjoy foruming. I'm an operator on a couple IRC channels too, which adds to the time consumed by Internet pastimes - somehow I can fit my studies in, though.
Despite having little to no life, I do have a girlfriend, and her name doesn't end in .jpg. Her name is Luana and she's an Engineering student - she's the same age as me, and we've been together for more than two years and a half.
Other stuff...well, I don't know what to add - perhaps I can fit other stuff in this post, just ask for it in the comments.
Such a fine novelty - Sal's Blogs! I left my 'main' blog alone for two months now, perhaps this will encourage me to blog more. :P Don't expect regular updates though :D I suck at writing about myself. :P Might as well copy someone else's profile and use it...
