What do you know... Dungeoneering actually made the hiscores this month. :)
I have still been questing.
Scorpion Catcher was a fun little quest... other than the first scorpion. I really need higher agility so I can take those Taverly Dungeon shortcuts. :P
I needed King's Ransom done for Seers' Village Hard Diary... but I still don't have 70 prayer so... yeah.
Rag and Bone Man was a very easy quest. The only hard part was that I got confused between desert goats and rams. lol
OMG... ok... Contact!... this quest deserves every blasted bit of it's reputation. I died 2 times (4 if you count the maze part). In the end I got my Iban Staff and blasted him to death while shoving sharks down my throat as fast as I could because the protect from mage doesn't help much with the rangers that he summoned. :) But he's dead and that is all that matters.
And of course no one was in canting when I finally beat it. :D isn't that how it usually goes? lol
I need to start actually writing blogs again instead of gushing after pictures. lol.
hehe... my questing mood is still firmly in place.
Fairy Tale Pt2
Fairy Tale Pt3
I've noticed that a my quest choices tend to focus on what will help me in farming. Not that I'm complaining on that.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Wait...
So yeah, I'm a bit tired of the constant grind. I'm in a long gone questing mood. :P
I started What Lies Below because it was a requirement for the Varrock Medium Diary. It was actually pretty easy and a lot of fun.
Then I decided to clear out some of those yellow quests in my log that have been bothering me for a while. First Ratcatchers. I hated this quest. SO. MUCH. I started it about 6 months ago I think, but it had to be finished so that I could do another diary task. So I grit my teeth.
Ghosts Ahoy was another quest that I started a LONG time ago. There is a lot of running around in this quest. Especially if you no longer have everything from it. It took me about 3 hours to finish. Most of that time was trying to get dyes. lol.
I had nothing against Myths of the Whitelands. I had put if of because at the time I didn't have a high enough woodcutting to get the bonus. Well, I certainly do now. It was fun until the 6th room. Then I wanted to throw my laptop across the room.
While I was in the middle of this last quest, Waste God Got 99 Hitpoints!! Congrats! I wish I could have been there, but I was right in the middle of the caves.
I don't know what's going on with my computer. Animations and loading and stuff only work while I'm moving my mouse. anyone know what causes this? Fixed
This is the last time I am going to talk only about cooking in my blog.
Last pic of my woodcutting cape untrimmed.
We finally all gathered together (we all know gathering Canters is like herding cats ) at Barbarian Village and made a train over to the everlasting fire located there. Everyone started dancing around the the fire. Then I placed the last fish (which was freshly caught by Marcos ) onto the fire and it happened.
Prettyful cape :D
Randomness with (from l-r) Marcos, Tanya, Ambo, Rachy, Pie
Then Fred came!! :P and joined in the crazy
Thank you so much guys!!! :P
I just realized... I never got a pic of emote. -.-
As you can see it didn't happen today. I kinda slept through a lot of my training time yesterday. lol. I am also second guessing my where I want to get it since it does exclude people and is pretty out of the way. Name an interesting place to get 99 cooking and I'll do it there. :P or if all else fails I'll do it outside the guild doors.

1pm CST [12pm MST, 7pm GMT]
Barbarian Village (or whatever the heck it is called now.)
I DON'T HAVE GALSTONES! Good news. I do have Acute cholecystitis (acute inflammation or infection of the gall bladder). Which is treatable, but still carries the risk of needing surgery if medications don't work. *hopeful face*
I took a break to do pengs. I really enjoy peng hunting, don't know why I hardly ever do it. It gave me 54 Prayer and I am *finally* combat level 90! :D
I stopped by the GE to sell all my cooked sharks and by some more raw. Those things are taking a long time to buy here recently. While I waited I gave myself a makeover. I <3 Halloween, but I think I like this color scheme enough that I'll keep it. :) (ok, it isn't all that different from what I have been wearing, but it took me a ridiculous amount of time to find the right colors that I liked. :) )
I :) Eek!
I think it is so funny when people have matching names. I'm always stuck between. "aww, that's cute" and "Wth? You can be friends with your own names." But that's just me. :P I found these to down in Rouge's Den.
Yo Its Lmao & yo its lmaoo
about 400k till 97 :) sooo close.
Soooo Party stuff. when would be a good time to set it on monday? I have a bunch of tests in the hospital that day so it will either have to be really early (like 5-7am CST [11am-1pm GMT]) or really late (after 8pm CST [2am GMT]). I could also just hold off till later.
I have the location though. I am going to get the 99 on the Roving Elves fire. ^_^ It seemed exotic. lol. Then walk (or just pass out Lumby tel tabs if we're feeling lazy or scrapped for time and walk from there) to the cooking guild.
UGH. I've missed two whole days of RS.
Whatever I had the other day is back in full force.
I ended up having to go to the hospital last night. Fun timez there.
They think it might be my gal bladder and are debating on whether I need surgery.
Have to go on the BRAT diet. ^_^ (Banana, rice, applesauce, toast)
More tests ahead.
Up side to all this? They gave me some good prescriptions. :P
Lets go see if I can make up some of this online time that I've missed.
I decided to take a small break to do the Halloween Event. It was quite a bit of fun, and a lot less annoying than last year's event. The spider puzzle almost stumped me, but as I was waiting for a video guide for it to load I finishined it. Random clicking ftw. ^_^
I love the new emote.
The Bone Broach is pretty nifty as well.
Back to cooking.
After I hit 90 I decided it was worth it to move on to sharks.
HALF WAY!!! :P
After 95 what do you think... Stick with Sharks or move on to Rocktails?
And on an RL note:
Don't by Halloween candy 2 weeks before the 31. 1) It's expensive as all get out [wait until Nov 1, way cheaper :D ], 2) you and your tummy will regret it. Yay for Senna tea. Helps with a lot of dietary mistakes one would make. ^_^
I should probably make a pot of Yerba Mate in the morning. Definitely wouldn't hurt since I have been sick lately and it will help build back up my immune system.
how the hell did I start talking about tea on my rs blog? :P time for sleep everyone.
I had to call it an early night after this lvl because I wasn't feeling well. I ended up having to stay home from work today because I wasn't feeling any better, but that did allow me to get these lvls. >.<
and only 230k till 90 :P
with this lvl I am done with lobsters  Off to monkfish.
The guide I read to use swordfish until 90, monkfish are so much cheaper and are worth more xp. If I use Lumby Kitchen, the few I burn doesn't even make a difference. I did a test, if I use Rouge's den I burn about 1/10. If I use Lumby Kitchen I only burn 4/75. Quite a bit better. I can hang out in Lumby for a few days until I hit 90. Then go to Rouge's Den for the rest.
*crashes from exhaustion*
I can't believe that one year ago I started this blog. Early on I set goals for myself. Most of them off handed thinking "oh, wouldn't that be nice" others that I really tried for.
Get all levels above 50? ... so close.
All levels in hiscores? ... I did, but then dunj came out and attack was bumped off.
99 Woodcutting?... Hellz yeah. -.-
Recipe for Disaster?... dun wanna talk about it.
My rs life is still in grind mode lately. Though it is worth it for this lovely lvl.
I have a backlog of pics, so I'm just going to dump them here, k? :)
haha.. runewise really does tell the future. Months after getting 99 it knows that I am still at it.
Lovely Star with Rachy >.<
I was really close to a level after that star so I went to Seers for some power mining.
I still love evil trees. Especially when they give mage logs.
15M woodcutting xp
I want to think everyone who has helped make this past year a good one. You have no idea what it means to me.
Upon logging in this morning I realized that I was no longer members. That sucked, because I really can’t train Fletching on free play can I? :/ So I battled against the great boss known as paypal trying to convince it that though I may not have much money in my account I do have enough to pay for a month of membership. Barely. It wasn’t having it though. After a few minutes of complaining and playing with the numbers I realized that the card that was on my paypal account was out of date. :) Noob mistake.
Finally settled in my pay play home, I started noticing that Merch Gwyar was luring people into her house. Curious I ran to the bank and nabbed a ring of dueling to head to Yannille and just walk in to her house as if I was invited. :P Then I saw what all the commotion was about. Merch got her loverly Demonic Throne.
Isn’t it pretty. :3 (yes I know I’ve already posted this pic, but it’s just too epic to not post it again).
There were a few people around and I met a tree brother while I was in there. Our very own Whiskas. :) (funny that I never knew him when he went by that name, but I can never remember how to spell his current name ^^; ) We managed after many fails to get a synced emote.
We milled about the house for a while until it ended up just being Merch and me in the house. We canted for a bit about this and that. We had checked the telescope earlier, and the location was somewhere in Wildy in about an hour’s time. By this time however I had all but forgotten about it, and didn’t really think much of it since our last Wildy star had been such an epic disaster. Fun, but still one of the scariest time I’ve ever spent on runescape (see ”Twinkle, Twinkle” ). Merch was ready to go though, so I tried to get ready as fast as I could. Which wasn’t very fast as Merch could attest. I’m not very used to going into Wildy. So I kept forgetting to stuff that I would need. Somehow, I didn’t even notice Merch leaving Edgeville bank, and was suddenly seeing that she was checking star drop sites already, but soon we were back together and we were off.
And then we got separated again… still not really clear on how that happened. :) But she said go to woosh so I went searching for woosh. When I found it the first time sent me to L50 checking the map I got a decent idea of where I was. A bit east of the Mage Arena, k. Before I could do much more I was attacked by an unknown rev and wooshed out before I could even think of fighting back.
Finally, the star was found! Ironically it was the exact same place as the previous Wildy star. :) The irony, nor the foreboding was lost on me. As I was running up to meet Merch there, she was attacked by a werewolf rev! I tried to help (as little as I could), but it was single combat. I cheered her on a bit until she waved me off to mine the star. Hearts exchanged back and forth as she battled the rev. I think I got about 40 stardust when I was attacked by a hobgoblin rev. :) These things were everywhere. I picked away at him. Stuffing my face as needed. Merch cheered me on. :) Finally I beat him! I head back to the star feeling rather proud of myself… then we are attacked again. Two hobgoblin revs came out from behind the building. I try to take on one of them, but an ork rev came out of nowhere and two hit me. D:
Then I was in Fally. At this point, I was done. I didn’t want anything to do in Wildy or Revs… but Merch was still there. I know that Wildy isn’t her favorite place in the world, and I had heard of and seen her panic attacks. She wasn’t going to stay there by herself. I hoped she had found a way out, but it was soon clear that she was stranded. Did I mention that we both forgot knives? Yeah, so she had no way to get to the Mage bank and to safety. We tried to lure some people up there to help without actually begging for help, but it didn’t work. I tried to go back for her once, but I was trapped right next to the bank lever because I was teleblocked with an Ork and Knight rev ganging up on me. I died, again. This reset my tombstone and wouldn’t let me get there in time to save anything. Oh well. I saw that Merch found a safe spot and sighed in relief but I didn’t know if she also found a way out yet. She didn’t. *bitesnails*
I took a deep breath and started back out. Completely naked, with only two knives and a bunch of fish I was running back into Deep Wildy. The discussion turned to what I had lost. Nothing really, just black d’hide bottoms, stardust, some monks… MY GOGGLES! I tried to play it off. Mentally, I was already allotting off some of my money to be spent in replacing them. It was miraculously clear as I was running down to where the star still sat. I ran to the very convenient stair case right next to it. *plots it down in memory forev--- oo shiny* Found her! I was going to mention that she looked more like she was lounging then cowering, but her utter shock that I came for her took me off guard. What else was I supposed to do? Leave her? Pffff. No. Supplies passed hands and we steeled ourselves for going back out there. We are woman hear us… run for our lives!
We were in the bank! We managed several deep breaths before we did anything. She started to trade me and I saw that she was offering over her goggles! :/ :/ :) You have no idea how much that meant to me. Fifteen mins later she also handed over some black d’hide and a load of sharks. :)
****Sharks hold a special place for me when it comes to Merch. It was when she caught her first giant shark that got me to join Runescape to begin with, and ever since then she hands them to me almost every time we meet up. :)****
We dicided that it would be a good idea for us to strip down to default clothing only and a knife and go explore the area. That we could never say that we didn’t know where everything was and where the best places to hide were. It was a very short trip for me as I we were ambushed right outside the lever and I was back in Fally.
I wanted to stay longer and see how Merch faired, but Real Life happened and I had to run. It seems her adventures continued on. :/ Check out her side of the story HERE
I have some pics that I need to up date with. Yeah... I'm still being a fail blogger. Hopefully when I start doing something more exciting then chopping logs in Tree Gnome Stronghold I'll have more to talk about. ^^;
I did mention it, but I didn't post when I hit 1616. No pic no proof and all.
As was said earlier, I have been wood cutting a lot lately. You'd think that getting 99wc would make me stop but NOOOO I have to keep going because I'm too cheap to buy logs to fletch. lol. All that xp adds up and I hit an epic milestone. 14mil xp.
A very welcomed diversion popped up the other day. Merch just happened upon a size 7 star near the Legend's Guild while she was on a farm run and called it out in Canting. I couldn't drop my d hatchet fast enough. lol. It was a fun star and I ended up getting only 2k till 62 mining. So afterwords I sat and mined the local iron for the lvl. :o
Damn those d picks are sexy... I might have to save up for one.
I still didn't want to go right back to chopping magics. So I decided to do the replacement quest for "Romeo and Juliet." It wasn't too bad actually and I did like that it didn't end with Juliet dying and Romeo running off with her cousin. That love-child. (I really have issues with the original quest just in case you didn't notice. lol)
Here are a few things I learned while trying to do the Lumby Hard Diary:
*It is possible to get from lvl 62 smithing to lvl 68 with minimal complaining. Not for me of course, but it is possible for others.
*Spottier capes don't necessarily have any more spots than the spotted cape.
*Blood talismans are hella hard to get a hold of.
*Blood talismans are hella easy to sell back for the exact same price.
*No matter how many times you try to make her, Wizard Elriss will NOT turn your new omni talisman into a tiara for you.
*The runecrafting guild is entirely too full for only 3 wizards that have names.
*After getting 1616 total lvl it is funny to not claim the fireworks. Then when people ask about who got the "99" call the mystery person a nolyfing bot.
*Pure Essence gives more runes then Rune Essence. After 50+ trips to the water alter with Rune Essence I would get between 85-95 water runes. 1 trip with Pure Essence I get 101. WIN.
*Sleep deprivation is great.... until you have to get up for work.
I usually never know what I'm going to do when I log in. Since I don't really have any goals I'm all over the place. Lately I've been trying to gather strange rocks, but you actually have to train con now so that's not gonna happen. :( So I was off looking for something else...
Then I figured it out; Lumbridge Hard Diary. I loved the Lumby diaries when I was a f2p. It was the perfect thing when I was just starting out. I opened up the scroll and the very first one. "Smith a mithril platebody on the anvil in the Draynor Sewers" sounded easy enough... in theory. Turns out though that you need 68 smithing to complete this. *looks over at stats* :( That's fine. I'll just do everything I can. Nearly everything else was doable. Though I did end up having to make that cake 3 times because I kept eating the chocolate. This happens irl as well. :( Then there was runecrafting. Damn.
Now all I have to do is get 68 smithing. I bought the gold ore and I am currently in Edgeville slowly going insane. I figure since I'm already there anyway, I'll go ahead and cut my losses and make gold amulets. I'm still losing about 500k, but I can easily make that back once I get back into fletching. Plan=Made
Runecrafting however... I don't even know. I hate rc for the most part. Nature runes are somewhat tolerable for a little while, but I don't think I can go 8 lvls. I have heard of other ways to train, but I have never tried any of them.
Oh, Guthix, I just looked up how many nature runes I would have to make to reach 57. 12,231. Damn. Oh well, that just means more profit when I'm alching my Magic Longbows.
Wish me luck...
I didn't have a chance to play as much as I would have liked this past weekend, but I do believe that the time I had was pretty productive. I started it off with a tree run excluding the fruit tree in Lletya, then started on a farm run. Then I crystaled over to Lletya to tag the last tree for 80 Farming! :) Then I ran into the bank to start mixing my potions. I didn't have as many as I wanted to get since the weekend kinda snuck up on me, but I did manage to get enough to push me to 60 Herblore!
Too soon it was time to change gears and start some agility. The bonus xp was great... but I really wasn't in the mood for this skill so after I made my first lvl I ran off to buy some maple logs to fletch and I finally reached 90 Fletching! :) 89 was such an annoying lvl to be stuck on. I Fletched a bit more and also a bit of firemaking.
So that was pretty much it. lol. May not be a lot, but I'm really happy with how everything turned out.
And lvl wise:
So 570K total xp gained and 9 lvls. Not bad for a weekends work. :P
Congratulations to Fred Lay on 2000 total lvl! :D You're a mad man. :)
so the XP weekend came up a lot faster than I thought it was going to. I have been farming and only managed to get 250 Kwuarm (haha, remembered what they were :P) before i could play no more and had to get in position.
My Plans for XP weekend:
1)Tree Run (5 yews and 5 papaya)
2)Farm Run (Kwuarm and sweetcorn)
3)Make Super Strength Potions
am I forgetting anything? OH! I know.
5) HAVE FUN!
Really, people take this thing far to seriously. :P
Lets hope Jagex doesn't mess up the math again. I don't really have my hopes up too high, but we will see.
(It occurs to me that I haven't had a random event in a while. >.< That means I'll probably get the maze or some other really long one right off the bat. fml)
HAVE FUN EVERYONE!! May you reach and exceed all your goals.
*Looks at pixelated arms and legs* Yes it is! I'm really back! I've missed this place a lot more than is probably healthy.
Real life is really meh, and lack of rs hasn't helped matters at all like I thought it would. It turns out that since I wasn't doing the constant calculating and mental stuff that goes into this game I spent a lot of my free time browsing icanhascheeseburger.com. Thus letting my brain turn to mush. Amused mush, but mush non the less.
I also really miss going to school, but as I can't afford to go back for realz, I am doing what I can. Make myself study stuff. So I decided 2 days a week I am either going to spend my evening writing, or studying one of several subjects (currently I am thinking Enneagram, psychology, or Japanese language as my learning choices as I actually have books for them and I won't get so distracted by internet. lol)
I officially came back yesterday. I was missing Runescape hardcore, and I saw Full of Pie log into skype and early morning glomped her. I'm not 100% sure she recognized my skype name. lol. That set the ball rolling and before I knew it I was logged on again. In f2p. :) No offense to any f2players out there, but I can't do it. All my favorite things are on members. So I'm remembertized now and having a lot of fun. (please keep in mind that "fun" to me is doing really boring things to a lot of other people. haha).
Turns out I came back just in time for another XP weekend! 8D I'm so excited, I'm actually going to plan for this one. I'm thinking tree and farm run first thing, some Herby, then finish it off in agility for the rest of the weekend. Nice, simple, nothing to stress out over. To prepare I'm growing a bunch of herbs of a certain kind that I can't remember the name of (ie: I fail). It's so nice to be farming again. :/
So since it is the start of the month I'll go ahead and end with the high scores.
OMGWHAT?! Strength is not ranked anymore? Hell... that means I have to do combat st00fs. :) Maybe some dragonless Slayer is in order. (yes, I don't like dragons... don't judge me. :/)
It is great to be back. :/
